Ah, the changes in life. So much has happened from a month ago.
I’m back home, have no more boyfriend, have a whole group of new friends, am crunching to watch about 7 movies in Spanish, read two books and do a project all in less than a week, too.
Hmm… What to start with? How about the group of new friends, my exboyfriend, then the school work, then the approaching school year, and then my mouth..
Alrighty. So, because of my boyfriend (now ex), I was able to meet some of his friends over IM conversations. And through those friends I met others and I now have a whole new group of 6-8 people. They’re amazing and really cool but they scare my mom. >.< One of them will be coming to my school next year (YEAH! Sophomores!) and I’m very excited.
I don’t want to post too much about my now exboyfriend except that us breaking up was really confusing and overly dramatic. This is more to inform my friends that we are broken up. >.<
School work. My school thinks that two and a half months of summer is too long to go without doing some school work so we generally get a book we have to read for English, a book we have to read for History and about 10 hours of practice for the language we take. I was so relieved that it was summer when we got out and completely space so now I’m trying to do all my work in about 6 days. Oh, school starts on Thursday. Which leads me to the approaching school year. I’ll be a sophomore (finally! I’m no longer on the bottom) and will be taking (in no particular order) Chemistry, Proof Geometry Honors, Health, Human Relations, U.S. Government, British Literature, Conversational Spanish (Spanish 40a), and electives. I want to have a study hall both semesters and theatre. Stupid health eats up one of my four elective slots for this year. >.> @ Health.
Okay, now my mouth. I went to an orthodontist a while back. He wanted to pull four of my teeth and have me in braces for 20-24 months (plus other junk). I went to a different orthodontist that one of my mom’s friends recommended. He is awesome. He doesn’t want to pull out four of my teeth, braces for only 18-20 months and he was a lot more specific with what things he’d be doing. So… I’m pretty sure that both my mom and I like him better. What sucks though is that the braces should be going on around November and that equals them off the summer before senior year. I’m not too psyched about braces on during that much of high school but I am really happy about straight teeth.
So… There’s your update on my life. Now I’m off to try and get some of this stupid summer work done while I don’t have any friends online! Toodles!
