His Story
In a world filled of prophecies, monstrous beings and false gods, Nilcea, strived many great countries. The majority of their inhabitants, human. Humans held a grand superiority over most races of the realm. With mastering the forms of the magic arts, the human race with their brutish background of warrior forces had become even more fearsome. Many dangers still lie for all of these countries inhabitants some including that of monsters and creatures of pure oddity, lurking amongst city walls.. Despite the differences of power in each race, unities were made with the humans in order for protection from these beasts, leaving them bound to the will of human laws. Few countries united by the fear of these beings, yet most joined an alliance brought together by the fear of a common prophecy. The prophecy of the Accursed Child, announced by the prophets of late, the two sisters known as gods reborn.
Within the many of the planets locales, there were families who possessed blood limits. Abilities usable only by those born by blood, a select few were known prestigious. Of the most famous was the Letir family line. Able to use there blood as shield or blade, there sacrificial limit combined with there legendary techniques made them into the most fearsome warriors of the continent. The Letir line had begun to increase rapidly. It was a great honor for ones child to marry into the family.
Unknown to the Letir, these beings of fate grew weary of their power. Deciding to reduce the families numbers, the prophets of fate, ever living, foretold of the accursed child. Known to the Letir to date, the prophecy spoke of a second son, corrupt and unjust, wishing to destroy all inhabitants of the planet. The prophets through-out times past had never foretold a false prophecy. Warriors and mages from all across the world came to confront the Letir's, killing each second son born. Many Letirs died in battle to protect their children but in the end the remaining Letir families re-pledged their loyalty to their countries and swore oath to only bare one child.
The prophecy had faded long ago into the shadows of the underworld, as it had felt void by interference. The prophets themselves had separated over the length of time. The elder becoming an adviser to the king of Virinia as the younger strayed across the world, an open spirit.
Many centuries later, Nilcea had become quite a prosperous world compared to that of before. Numerous races began living equally among the human ranks. Technology had advanced to evolve with magics, creating unique weapons and barriers, as well as many inventive new tools. The leading developer being Mori Tenear himself.
Not much was known about Mori specificly other than basic notes. What was known is that he was a scientist unlike any other. His level of development in his research was easily put to "madman" quality. The creator of Virinia's new barrier, he had found a blood type amongst his research that intrigued his true passion for knowledge. An ancestral blood unrecorded by any of his predecessors. A master of fusion experimentations, Mori found himself lost in his own mind, trying to study the results of this mysterious blood. Being an influential research developer Mori had access to almost all sources he required. His precious specimens for the experimenting being non other than the unfortunate villagers, who were unable to cover there debts or criminals with life sentences that no one would see again.
Despite the number of specimens he collected, not one of them survived the infusion. Mori unsatisfied by these results had begun using higher quality specimens, lesser nobles of the families with unique blood limits, sometimes even using creatures he had been able to detain. Eventually, after another excessive amount of failures, Mori had decided to go to more extreme measures. Knowing of the Letir's ability to manipulate their blood, he decided to take one final specimen. A child of the Letir.
The Letir line had diminished greatly over time through wars and missions. The noblest family being that of Jaede and Kari Letir. Jaede, known for abilities in the blade and Kari known for her expertise in magics, there son Jiene was a prime specimen for Mori. Without further delay, using his official authority, Mori requested an audience that the couple could not refuse to attend. The family of course refusing to turn over there first born heir, had agreed with Mori to birth a second son for his experimentation. Nine months later, the Child was conceived, Mori had yet to show himself again.
To avoid attachment, the couple raised the child callously as an un-welcomed guest. Jaede had it decided to never name the child in order to keep him hidden. His existence as a second son of the Letir would reawaken latent fears upon the world. Jiene however was disturbed by this. He had come to love his younger brother and though only three years old, had become protective of him. Upon the age of seven, Jiene had began hiding a few of his gifts each celebration to hand down to his brother. Despite the parents wishes the boys were almost inseperable, but alas the time had finally come. Mori at the young child's fifth birthday had come to collect. Never sure to what delayed Mori, nor caring, Jaede tore the boy from the distraught Jiene's arms with the quote "This is what you asked for, now leave my family at once or we will rage an all out war." The scientist quite pleased, left with not a word, dragging the child to his nearest research laboratory.
The infusion process had begun. Mori had forcefully injected the blood upon returning, staring at the child, awaiting anxiously. The regular span of time for the process to kill his previous specimens was a span of five days. Three days had passed and the boy had seem fine otherwise thus far. Taking a blood sample from his current status, Mori had noticed that the blood though resilient, had begun being infected. The fusion had failed, and the boy was labeled Experimented Failure Ell-Ion: Letir. By the beginning of the fourth day the boy had begun experiencing the similar symptoms to the previous experiments. His breathing and heart rate heavily elevated as the boy began coughing up streams of blood. The condition was worsening by the hour. The Letir blood had begun rejecting itself, flowing from his mouth and his eyes. He was rendered almost blind. His screams, blood curdling to even Mori himself, Mori threw the boy out of his laboratory as a reject. Temporarily enraged He had decided to once again throw the experiment on hold. The child however, had yet to die. Struggling, unable to see, the blood still flowing. He crawled with every bit of strength left in his five year old body, the boy wished to see his brother one last time. Remembering his short life before his eyes.
A strong storm had begun to gather in the area. Strong wind currents elevating the child, lifting him midair. The madness of ten strong storms combined together yet without a single bold of lightning. This was the work of the Elemental Vashor. Spirit of Lightning. Having noticed the child's struggling, Vashor had wished to end his suffering once and for all. With a merciful strike, the skies roared violently, as the bolt charged toward the boy, engulfing him in light. As he was engulfed, the child fell to a mental void. Awakening in his subconcious, a being, massive in comparison, had emerged. The creatures immense aura pulsating all around, the being spoke, its voice earth shattering, "To you whom force my blood amongst yourself, will die. Yet with your death, I may leave no successor. You child, though not of my origin, are chosen. You shall become my heir." The electricity flowing within him had activated the ancestral blood cells. As a defense mechanism, in order to survive, both bloods forcefully fused, the ancestral blood absorbing the lightning bolt, generating it as a battery to regenerate the boys cells. The child fell to his knees, unconcious once more.
Awakening rejuvenated and heavily confused, the child could see his hometown from upon the cliff where Mori's lab stood. Before he began his journey home the boy noticed a scrap of burnt paper beneath him. Its edges torn, the document itself barely legible, he noticed the words written "Ell-Ion:Letir. From that moment, he named himself and would be further known as Ellion. The boy made his return home to be greeted in fear by his parents. Jaede and Kari had thought him as dead, having seen the boy returned however, they were left with no choice but to raise him or kill him. Jiene would not let his brother be harmed again, defending Ellion by swearing to take his own life. Jaede and Kari, felt no alternative, took the boy in once again under there wing. This information was later delivered to the current king of Virinia, Alden. It had been announced over all kingdoms, "The Accursed Child" had been born.
*Picking up a dusted off document* Its been many years since those events. *He'd turn a few pages searching through old research" Piecing together the bits of information Ive found over the years, Ive discovered that theres a real accursed child. Mori had apparently collected some of my brothers cells before I was born and created a clone. *Flipping through more documented research* I'm the only one with this knowledge in my hands.
The world detests my very existence, my brother has been taken away to train by my father. There are limitless bounties stacking upon me head, just for existing.. And now I have to save everyone before the real accursed child strikes.
Somehow I must survive against my foes, my allies, and even my friends, in order to save the world that's trying to destroy me.
My name Is Ellion Letir, And this... is my story.
