Perfection
A perfect life, is a life not worth living. If perfection were achieved, there would be no further need of our existence on this planet. We exist, because we were given the gift of imperfection. Had we been perfect, we would not have a feeling of boredom. We would never have sought out activities to bide our time. Had we been perfect, we would not have been given the ability to hate, and our sense of love and compassion would not exist as it does today. Had we been perfect, we would not have had a need for advancements in technology, and would not have the resources to preserve our past as we do today. Had we been perfect, we would all be the exact same person, with the exact same ideals, and we wouldn't be able to consider ourselves to be individually special. We could not begin to compare ourselves to the snowflakes that fall outside our windows on cold winter nights. We would not be able to "be ourselves" and strive to do our best. We are imperfect for a reason. We are imperfect because our existence thrives on it. - Me
