my soul is gone
i convulse in shock and spasam
my heart is gone
both were once in the hands of a rose
but now that flower has blown away from my grasp
it has freed itself on the wind
scattering its contents on the earthen floor of the world
so that people may tread on what was once held dear
am i a demon from heaven or an angel from hell you'll never know
