When I was a little girl, maybe two years old, my best friend was probably Melissa Bennet. She was another girl-about my age, in fact, I still know her as a classmate, and she was a lot quieter than me. I was a very rowdy, difficult baby, always either laughing my face off or crying my eyes out. But one of my first memories is of being at her house and drinking with a bendy straw. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. When I got home, I found some colored "crazy straws" - you know, the ones that bend and shape in several differnet directions.
I was around the same age that someone, probably mom, was trying to teach me to tie my shoes. I never really got a hang of it...
After I took a bath, mom would wrap me in a towel and carry me to the counter. She would kiss my feet. Then I would walk on my heels to the living room and get her to kiss them again. It made me giggle.
In the park, there was a little play set with animals on coils and a tiny playhouse with a couple swings on it and a tiny tube slide. There were red steps, and the tube slide and roof were red, too.
I had a tweety swimsuit and a fishy life jacket. I wore them everywhere at twin.
There was a doll I called Baby. I kept renaming her, so she just became baby. Her arms reached out to touch you, and se had blue eyes and a pink tutu. She was usually very dirty.
