A crystal tear falls from my hot cheeks. I try to hide my eyes, I do not want you to see me like this. Your hand finds its way to my chin and you lift my head up. My lip quivers and you smile at me with sympathy. You place a kiss on my lips, and continue to smile. I build up enough power to smile back at you, but it only makes me cry more. You try to figure out what is wrong, try to figure out why with your comforting words the tears still fall. But it is just that. Your sweet presence, and the words you speak so gently to me are what cause my tears. I did not have any bad memories flowing through my head, only the thought that I am where I am supposed to be. I finally have what every little girl dreams of while growing up; a home, a love. He is what I need most. Every person has a hero, one that normally possesses superhuman powers. My hero is someone much different, someone who cannot fly unless on a plane. My hero is someone who I hold closest to me and cherish most. Someone whom I will never grow out of. He beholds different powers, and uses them everyday without even knowing. He has unknowingly saved a life, and I am proud to look up to someone so strong and honourable as he. But what gets me most, is that he is mine; my hero, my love.
