ALRIGHT!~ as few or some of you know. My cats passed away a month apart about 7 months ago. Monday we will be getting our two new additions to the family Ramsey our male kitten and Miss Mary the One year old Poly-Dactyl. For those that don't know about the Poly Dactyls they are the cats that have an extra appendage on the foot, They are also known as the thumb cats. Now onto the story of how this came to be.
this whole thing (of looking for 2 cats) started on friday when they had a free feline friday adopting... we went later in the day and only one kitten was left and a few older cats... nothing called out to us... so we called and asked about people who foster them... This, for lack of a better word, B*%#& on the phone said "oh well we're not wavering the fees on foster cats" and we didn't care WE JUST WANTED A CAT (well two) so she finally gave us the number to the one who takes the most in. In the past i've gone to adopt cats and there's that odor (you know what i'm talking about) that goes with them. This Nice caring woman didn't have that odor that i knew of, Smelled better than the animal shelter. First stop the Kitten's room. She told me earlier to make sure i wore pants. It's hot but I trusted her and she already liked us for our past with cats. I'm so glad i listened. The first thing that happened was my soon to be Ramsey climbed up my pant leg so i could pick him up and then he proceeded to continue up to my shoulder and stay there. Instant love.
mom wasn't big on the kittens so we went to the older cats room. There we saw princess the Himalayan, and Miss Mary the Poly Dactyl. Mom was torn she liked them both and then Abby (breed unknown). Finally after much consideration we ended up going to Mary. With two chosen we still wanted to wait and talk about it more when we got home. All we did was talk talk talk. We called her back and said we wanted to adopt Miss Mary and Ramsey. This woman was thanking us for adopting both of them but we were thanking her for letting us go up there, even if we did get lost >.< , Now the only thing to do is wait till Monday smile .
