Im a 15 year old born and raised in Risembool. I travel around the country with my younger brother Alphonse. Before that we lived with out mother, but when I was 9 she got sick and died. Me and Al being alone attempted a huge taboo in the Alchemy world "HUMAN TRANSMUTATION" We wanted to bring her back. But we failed... I lost my left leg and Al his whole body, I couldn't bear losing him too. Using alchemy and a seal I bound his soul to a suit of armor at the cost of my right arm. That night I promised id get his body back.... no matter what.

We traveled the country for a few years. Seeing horrible things and some .... miracles. My favorite was being there to help Elicia be born.... We have the same birthday. Anyways Her father Hughes, was an amazing man but upon finding out about the philosopher stone(An alchemy amplifier that by passes the gates law) And about the homunculus (Humans who have died and been brought back using human transmutation with god like powers) he died. Everyone was stunned.

I am a major in the army... being the youngest alchemist in the army my title is "Fullmetal" Alchemist. I got my name from having automail limbs and being able to use alchemy without a circle (Which you can do if you've seen the truth) I was placed under Colonel Roy Mustang (Damn b*****d) He is the "Flame" Alchemist. And plans to become Fuhrer one day.

Now we held many enemies..... mostly homunculus

We fought our tough battles, and survived.... In the end I got Als body back. But in doing so have trapped myself on the other side of the gate...
