You call me a FREAK and expect it to not hurt...
Only 6 months old, and already she was close to death. Child services came and took her away, placing her with her grandparents. Her parents broke up because of this. Her father moving in with her grandparents to be near her, her mother stayed in the small town of Abeline, Texas, not even saying good-bye or sheding a tear. When she was 2, her dad moved out, wanting to make a new start for himself, but staying close by to watch his little girl grow up at a distance. One year later, she had a little half sister, but hardly ever got to see her. To this day, she barely remembers her, and knows that her beloved little sister doesn't even know who she is. Her mother, at this time, had a son, Devin. The little girl met her half brother when he was just a baby, and she was 5. When she was 7, she found out that the people she was living with were not her birthparents, or even remotely related to her. At first, she didn't ask any questions, but that soon changed. When she was 10, she had another little brother on her mother's side. Barrett. When she was 12, she met her new little brother, and fell in love with his blond hair and lightning blue eyes. She only spent a week with her beloved baby brother before he and her mother and brother went back to Abeline. She went back home (on account of her being in Denver, Colorado that summer with her other grandparents) to dreary old Pickens, South Carolina. The very next year, her world shattered. Barrett had died. Killed by his own mother. Her own mother. The very same mother who had tried to kill her 12 years prior. That changed her life forever. She began dreaming of blood and death and fire. She began slitting her wrists to express the pain she felt, but hid it from the world. When all seemed lost, an angel appeared before her and saved her from herself. Slowly, she began to feel whole again. And happy. She stopped hurting herself to express her pain, and began to open up to her new found love. Now, at the age of 15, once broken she stands whole, staring at her reflection in the mirror. I stared back.
