My mind
I met with Death once, but it was not as you would think. In truth I did not meet him directly, at first, but rather his desendent. His daughter. I met her one night while I lay alone in my room. I had partialy drifted to sleep when I found myself in a white room in which I stood along with a little girl in a black dress. She had pale skin, black hair, and grey eyes. She didn't notice my at first, but once she did she asked, "What are you doing here?" I didn't reply. She stood up and asked again, "What are you doing here?" I stumble over the words as I said, "I... I don't... I don't know what I'm doing here." "Where is HERE?" She replied, "This is my daddy's office. No one, but I have ever been in here, besides him." With my curiosity, I asked, "Who is you daddy, and what is you name?" She smiled and happily said, "I don't have a name, not yet anyway, but my daddy is Mr. Grimm." "Mr. Grimm?" I asked. "Oh! You must be from the other side." She said in a shocked tone. "Other side?" I inquired. She nodded, and then ran off to a desk that had randomy appeared. I shook my head questioning what was transpiring. She returned and handed me a scroll. "Odd." I thought to myself. "Why whould this, Mr. Grimm, write on parchment?" I unwraveled the scroll a bit to read it, but then it vanished, and a voice boomed behind me. "Who are you to read my works?" I whipped around to see standing in front of me none other then the Grim Reaper himself. He was however in a red bussiness suit, and had hornrimmed glasses on. He looked at the scroll, and said, "Ah... I see you came here prematurely." I just stared blankly. "Well, I see you've met my daughter Anabelle." She squeeled with glee, "Yeah! I have been granted a name, and can now go to school!" I came back to my sences, and instinctivly looked for a way out of the room, but there was no such thing. The reaper walked over to me. "Don't worry." He said in an oddly comforting tone. "You are not supposed to die now, but only to see what you alone shall return to." I looked at him with a confused look. He said one last thing which shall haunt me for all eternity, "All will be explained, in time." As he finished his words I woke up, and that was how I met with Death.
