Steely Gaze, Shattered Heart
My name? It’s Rammiel, but I don’t really care what you call me.
I’m what those stuck-up sods call a “Knife-ears”, an elf. My age is none of your damn business.
If you bothered to look, my eyes are grey. My hair’s brown and always up in a ponytail unless I feel like wearing it down. I usually don’t.
If you find me, I’m usually training, hanging at the backs of taverns, or simply travelling with my Mabari, Nelaros. I’m looking for someone, you see, and I’m not going to stop until I find her. It’s not what she wants me to do, but I don’t care.
Want to fight me? I’m a warrior, so good luck. Don’t try pointing your weapon at me; you’ll only have it shoved down your throat. My body is decorated with tons of battle scars so you know how many fights I’ve survived. Most of them are from protecting her anyway.
People call me blunt and unfriendly, and they’re right. If I care enough to talk to you, I doubt you’ll like what I say. Compliments rarely leave my mouth and if you ever hear one from me, you’ve definitely earned it. I never say “thank you” either, so get used to it. Despite being a cold b***h, I do have friends—or allies more like. I won’t jump in front of a volley of arrows for them, but I’d still protect them. These people include Zevran Aranai, Sten... and her. A volley of arrows wouldn’t stop me from protecting her.
I hate incompetence, people who get in my way, nobles, and most everything else. There aren’t a lot of things I like and I’m not about to tell you what they are. Soft spots? ******** you, I have none.
