Past History:
Odette is the last of her Nobel Race (The Edelmira Clan). Her parents, mother being a human and her father a Nymph, were assassinated during the battle between the Earth Dwellers and the Water Nymphs. Before the war started her mother hid her, and placed her in a basket to float across the sea. She placed a small stuffed cat in the basket with her to watch over and protect her. Encrypted in the stuff cat was a magical symbol of the water nymph. Odette was then discovered by a lonely wealthy woman who had lost her child earlier to the plague. The woman raised Odette in a small town in Europe. When she turned twelve her adopted mother told her that she was found drifting in the rocks of the ocean. At the age of thirteen she started to receive strange dreams of her real mother and father which slowly taught her more about her past and her real family. Odette then discovered she was not only a human but something more. In her dreams her mother was talking to her, telling her that her stuff cat was her protector, and in order to show his true form she had to learn her magic. Odette started to learn more about her magic from the books she read in her local library over water nymphs. She practiced countless hours till she thought it was all just all make belief. Speaking her, what thought to be her last magical words opened the spirit of her cat fish. Since Odette was still part human she could never become the true form of the water nymph, but still have the strong magical powers her father’s blood gave her.
