This is sad. I still don't know what to quest for. I thought I really wanted the Zodiac item, but not so much anymore. Not really enjoying how it's evolving. So, what to quest for? Too many things on my want list. Thinking it will just be best to earn a bunch of gold, and then as things strike my fancy, well, I can buy them! I sort of did that today! Blew a good 25K on items that I just had to have! And it felt great! scream

So, I was thinking about some of the other items I have on my wishlist, and while I do really want the Azuramella, but I keep getting this great idea for a couple of the other items on my list. So..... I'm putting the quest for Azuramella on hold for now, and going after the item for my avi that is haunting my thoughts.
Who knows, maybe after that is done, I will be able to focus enough to get Azuamella. One can only hope! sweatdrop

So, as many of you know, I JUST completed my quest for a new Kiki xd . I was fortunated that I had some gold, ok a fair amount of gold, left over. It was really nice to be able to get some items that I needed for the upcoming seasons. Now, I still have a bit of gold left, and I thought to myself, "What in the world do I want to quest for now?"
And that is where I find myself tonight. I have a pretty extensive, and a vast variety, of items of my wishlist, but nothing is really going, "Ooooo, ooooo, ooooo! Pick me! Quest for me!" But, after looking at prices of several of the items on there, I thin I finally found one that would be a good long quest to keep me busy for a while. Plus, looking at the different features of the item, makes me want it even more. So, yay! Found my next quest! HURRAY! xd
Look out Azuremella, you're next! pirate

I can't believe it! After a long while of hard work and sales in my little shop, I finally achieved my goal of getting a new Kiki! I'm so happy that I have a new Kiki to replace the one that was taken when I got hacked. I plan to hang on to this one for forever! I'm so happy!
I do need to thank two peoples that helped make this quest go a tad smoother than it would have if I didn't have their help. First: Songsilence, thanks for helping me raise the funds to get her back, or adopt a new one. Thanks for also helping me to not lose hope and to keep pushing along when the end looked bleak. 3nodding Second: My little brother, thanks for giving your items to me when you decided to stop playing on gaia. Without your help, I would have never raised enough gold! Thank you so much!
Welcome to my new Kiki! heart
Now it's time to pick a new item to quest for.......

Sigh................ So, questing....................... Yes, hard work. Esspecially when the items you are questing for are items you had already, and now you are trying to get them back. Here's the story......
I used to be a huge, hardcore gaia player, and then I just kinda drifted away for a year or two because life took over. (That's what happens when you graduate from college. xd ) But gaia was always at the back of my mind, and I knew that one day I'd return. Too bad when I got back, I didn't know there would be a huge surprise waiting for me. And not one that is super pleasent.
I noticed that there was a missing item from my collection of randomly (and some not to randomly) collected items. My Kiki Kitty, that was a gift mind you from one of the most friendly and generous people I've EVER met, was GONE. Then as I looked a little closer at my inventory, I found that several items were just gone. However, the Kiki was noticed right away because I normally have it on my avi all the time. She was my favorite! And she was all the more special because she was given to me by a complete stranger!
The list of items has been growing a bit since I started up again, mostly because I think about what I want, and know I can have, for my avi and when I go to get it, it's gone.. Many of my friends believe that my account was hacked and the items stollen. Which makes sense since the only items missing were big big ticket items.
The list includes the following: Kiki Kitty, Wind Security Blanket, Pixie, Enchanted Book, Summoning Tomb (got this one back when I inherited all the items from a friend)
Since I've gotten back on about 4 months ago, I've been questing to get these items back, one at a time, starting with the Kiki Kitty as it is my favorite.
It's going to be a long time before I can get all these items back, esspecially the Kiki, but I'm willing, and super determined, to do it.
The first step to a massive journey begins with the first step and must continue with determination until the destination is reached, however long it may take.

Well, this past spring break, I went on the trip of a lifetime with my theatre group here at school. We took a study tour to New York City for one week to see the sites, shows, and everything that New York City has to offer.
It took us two plane rides to get to the big apple. The first ride wasn't too bad, but the second one was really bumpy. sweatdrop A few of our first time fliers got a bit sick, but nothing too bad. But we made it to New York City without any problems and everyone got their luggage. Good thing!
We stayed at the Sharition Towers in Downtown Manhatten, one of the safest places in New York. We got to see five different shows: Wicked, STOMP, Spamalot, RENT, and Doubt. All were amazing in their own way! The highlight of the shows for me was Spamalot. But now that I've listened to the music a bunch from Wicked and RENT, these shows are up in my favorites as well.
We toured all over the place! We saw the city all lit up on top of the Empire State Building, the Amsterdam theatre where Lion King is currently performing, China Town, Little Italy, SOHO, the Hidson Scene Shop where they make all sorts of sets for shows (Phantom of the Opera!), and we took the waterways tour to the Statue of Liberty to name a few of the bigger tours we took. Some of us also got to see Ground Zero.
After our long week in the big city, we all headed back to where we started. We took two planes again and both were really nice rides. And again, no one lost their luggage.
Overall, it was a trip that I would gladly take again. I probably would have never gotten to see any Broadway show, but this trip made that dream a reality. I would never change that I went for anything in the world! It really was, a trip of a lifetime!

I can't believe it! I had my first snow day on October 5th! xd I've never had one before. Living in mid-western Montana, we don't snow days. It snows and we go to school. End of story! It was even crazier being that I'm in eastern North Dakota and we got a snow day! Two really. They closed down school on the 6th, too. The snow was so bad that only emergency travel was allowd and the governor declaired our town a war zone because of everything that was effected by the snow: down power lines, down tree limbs, no power to most of the town, blocked roads, ect.
It wasn't all great though. Our power was from generators and could go out at any time. We also didn't have internet connection, and I had a test to take on-line! I got to question 20 and the internet crashed! gonk We were supposed to inform our professor if this happend by e-mail, but I couldn't because the internet was down. ARGGGGG! scream
When we ventured out to see what it was like outside, There was over 2.5 feet of snow from one night's snow! In order to get to our student center, where the food is, we had to battle wind, cold, and blowing snow. Not fun! But fun in a crazy survival way. We played in the snow, too! It came up nearly to my hips! eek Fun fun fun!
After the wind died down, we got to see the distruction that the snow brought with it. Our campus was full of trees, some still had their leaves. Many of these trees are now broken branches and are going to be ripped out of the ground. The sad thing is that most if not all of these trees were dedicated to people. cry Trees are down all over town, too! But the clean up process has begun and soon things will be somewhat back to normal. 4laugh
