My stuff
The Lifeless Warrior
Just somethin i came up with when i was bored. X3

The firey red haired girl chuckled as she adjusted her veiw of the complex wiring. "Wow, you're internal systems are still in tact after this many years. It's hard to imagine how you've stayed in such good shape." She told the lifeless warrior she was now woring on. She looked to the darkening the sky overhead and sighed. "Sun's goin down, i promise i'll have you runnin by tomorrow afternoon." She said and closed the acess panel on the warrior's chest. After setting her fire one last time, she curled up against the cold robot and sighed. "One more day." She muttered and started to fall asleep.

The next morning, she was awake at the first light. She was a very light sleeper, and it only took a bit of light or noise to wae her up. She looked up to the robot again and smiled. "morning my friend." She said and looked to her fire, halfway through the night it had died and she had to restock it. Now it was going out again. "Maybe i can get you fixed up fast enough to help me get some wood?" She asked and sat up, ignoring the freezing temperatures. Even with numb hands she was able to open the panel. A look of shock, then sadness overcame her face as she inspected the wires. "I'm so sorry i didn't notice this before..." She appologized to it and looked down. "It appears that you need a new cybernetic heart my friend. i guess i could make one from spare parts, but it wouldn't last more than two days." She sighed and stood up carefully, then walked among the bits of scrap metal arount her little camp.

She had found a scrap yard on her travels and been working on the old robot for many days. It was her new hobby and she refused to let it go. Rumors had traveled about how if you had one of these warrior robots, you would be able to program it any way you wanted. She was so excited to find one that once she did, she made camp right there and hardly left it. Now, as she was picking her way through old machinery, she was finally admiring her surroundings. A large sign hung over the main gate, saying "Welcome to henry's!" Whoever Henry was, She was glad his scrap pile was still there, it surved as the perfect hiding spot.

Half an hour later, she returned to her lifeless friend. "Give me a bit okay?" She asked and tenderly closed it's acess panel. She then turned to the fire and threw the last of her wood on it, warming up immediatly. Then she set to work on the spare parts she gathered, using her tool kit to peice them together. It took her most of the day to get it working, but she finally got it a few hours before sundown. A small chuckle escaped her lips as she turned to her unresponsive friend. "Here you go!" She giggled and opened it's chest panel again. With some fiddleing, she managed to put it in and connect the wires. A michanicall hiss sounded as she powered it on and closed the panel for, hopefully, the last time. Then she awaited his reboot. As far as she knew it could take hours or even days. She sighed and curled up against it like she had done countless nights before. It was warming up at least. She didn't even need a fire tonight, if it went well. Soon she drifted off into sleep.

A few hours later, the sun had gone down and the robot had nearly finished rebooting. A loud crack in it's internall wireing had awoken her in an instant. She sat up and wrenched the panel open, even in the darkness, her experienced hands knew where to go and fix the obvious problem. "No! don't break!" she yelped and fixed the wiring problem before it could shut down again. Moments later she smiled and closed the panel, looking up into the robot's optics. A deep crimson flicker of light turned on in each of them, and small mechanical whirrs and clicks sounded as they adjusted in the dark. She smiled and relaxed a bit, knowing it'd be fully aware in moments. as she moved, the optics focused on her. She blinked in responce and curiousity.

"Designation?" It asked in an obviously masculine voice. It moved a bit and she immediatly stood up, letting him stand too. As he stood up slowly, bits of rust and dirt fell off of him and he looked at her again. "Designation?" He asked her again, it's optics never faultering.
