Name: Leila Sora
Age: Let 's say... 24 for appearance sake. She doesn't have a human lifespan, but isn't immortal either.
Race: Originally an angel, she is now considered half fallen, but might be a hint of a hybrid due to previous life events. The hybrid portion (if you could consider it a large enough factor) is demonic.
Outstanding physical features: Noticeably long, white hair. Her demeanor seems quite calm, almost as though she were in deep thought at all times. At times, a set of wings are visible due to her half fallen angel state, but she is able to conceal them if need be. In somewhat more recent years she had a good scuffle with a demon she wasn't able to avoid. This has left her with light burn scars on a wing and an arm with a bit of the burn winding along part of her neck. However, this was not all. Her jaw is still a bit malformed, unable to completely heal to its natural form from the demon's attack. Although she keeps her body quite well covered, if one happened to see her stomach area they would notice a large scar from when the same demon stabbed her with his tainted sword.
Faction: Abarimon
Powers: Time traveler. She can step through space and time, but does so with portals. Sucks to those who get lost in the wrong time for following her into a portal as they may never return to their original time unless she goes back for them.
Although she often uses portals for time travel, she will also use them for normal travel if the distance is great and she doesn't want to expand the energy. Since she has to affect time when she uses these portals the exact timing will be a bit off from one side of the portal to the other. This can be minutes to seconds to hours or days. She can also only open portals to locations she's been. Time isn't so much the issue as location.
Another option she has is to make a small portal that she can slip her hand into. Some would find this trivial, but she finds it handy to pick up things she knows the time and location of, such as weaponry. It doesn't require as much energy as a full on portal to travel through (the bigger the portal/time it is up the more energy expanded), thus she can quickly pull these items out as quickly as a man unsheathes a sword.
Having been a normal angel of heaven for most of her life, she has learned how to use heavenly light against those of demonic nature to hinder them. When she was a full heavenly angel demons were more easily pushed aside by the light. Just as most angels she shared many common angelic abilities including, but not specifically limited to her ability to heal (too lazy to list every single angel ability as that'd make this part even longer). However, now she's half fallen (and being drawn to a more demonic nature) her heavenly light is not nearly as powerful and grows weaker by the century.
Leila doesn't exactly have mind speak, but she has the ability to "leave impressions" on people. She can cast her emotions and intentions to those about her (including animals, plants, other beings) and those who are weak enough will share her exact emotions. Her ability is also to not send it out with as much strength, thus using it as a means of communication when she does not wish to use her words. It can be a bit foggy and hard to understand at first, but those exposed to it start to catch onto it better. For some reason, children seem to understand this communication more easily than those of old geezer age.
Something that is starting to grow in her comes from the demon blood she was tainted with. She isn't exactly sure what it is, but she feels something new stirring within herself. The ground doesn't seem quite as solid as it once did. Also, she thinks she might be descending more towards humans as she has noticed her blood clotting a bit more than it used to a few centuries ago.
Fighting style: She mainly stays aloof. Her goal is not to go out and fight, but avoid it if possible. But should she end up in one, she'd waste your energy before lifting a finger to attack through tricks if possible. She has a few ways of doing this, which includes, but is not limited to opening portals for the unsuspecting to pass through, going back in time an hour or so earlier than she is at and observing the person who she'd have a run-in with later to better avoid their path, reaching through time and space to trip the person, and other tricks that some may declare underhanded. But she'd rather do this than have a direct fight.
Should she find herself in a fight, she is known to try and end it quickly as she lacks in endurance. If she suspects it will go on longer than she will be able to properly defend for, she might flee from the fight, only to go back in time and observe how to improve it, then foul up the other individual to give her a better fighting chance against them.
Weapons: Typically none, but if you do get to her, she has been seen using a long, thin blade. She has other blades hidden in stashes through out history, but the long thin blade seems to be her favorite.
Strengths: An ability to either stay out of the way of individuals or be their personal poltergeists should they get on her bad side.
She can fly, which so many wish for.
Her ability to push her feelings/intents towards others to help them sympathize.
The small portals, which could be used to deposit things or pick them up. She uses them often, and due to their smaller size they are harder to pick up on by those able to pick up magic/energy.
Due to her travels and natural curiosity, she's effectively seen much of the history of the world. She's not seen much past the current time period though as the future is prone to change.
Weaknesses: Not the strongest in stature. Hence, she tries to keep fights down.
Her body is changing due to an infection, as well as her abilities. Those she knows best are becoming weaker as they make room for those she knows little to nothing about.
Her strength is not in speech. It is better than it used to be, but she still prefers to use impressions to better communicate.
Although she is a non-alcoholic, if the right beverage is given to her she may as well be drunk.
The demon who infected her holds some sway with her thoughts and desires. Having been away for some time from him, she believes she has all power over herself, but this is simply a figment of her imagination.
Small history: Leila is a curious time traveler. She's visited many places and watched them progress through out time, marveling at the growth of the humans making barren waste places their refuges from great storms. Not only this, but they sometimes made the most beautiful buildings. As she checked up on the growth, she's sometimes opened portals 10 years into the future in pretty much the same location, grabbed a new look at the growth, then advanced 10 years further into the future once again. If you happened to be around Orion for the past 100 years there is a slight chance you've seen her observing the city's growth and changes in inhabitants.
Now then, some might wonder how she can be half fallen. This starts with her being a normal heavenly angel. Long story short, she made a mistake that was a bit too grievous to allow her normal living among the angels kind. But it didn't quite seem terrible enough to condemn her to being wingless and human nor shun her down to demon status. Instead, she found herself in a limbo of sorts, unable to truly be a full angel nor fall to becoming like the demons.
Most of her life since has been wandering the earth as the traveler earlier mentioned. When she feels someone from above or below come by her first thoughts are to avoid them due to her shame. However, should they confront her she would find herself fighting for the opposite side the individual represented. Thus continued her life in limbo. The only ones who truly seemed her friends were young children who unfortunately grew as well as those at peace with the earth (some call them hippies). She bares no resentment to the earth itself, mainly those from above and below.
This continued on for much more of her life until more recent centuries. She had watched a city grow once again (every 10 years) but this caught the eyes of some of the inhabitants. Thus, when she appeared one time in the 10 years they were waiting for her and made a move. She was lucky to escape, but noticed they were able to pick up on her using her powers to a greater degree. Leila found herself wandering a large city, looking for the edge so she can flee.
It was during her time here that she found herself fighting for her life and freedom. The people who wanted to capture her and use her as an agent were on one side and the whole of the world that didn't move with them on the other side. It was during this time she had a good scuffle with a demon, the same one that gave her the more obvious scars and infected her with their blood.
Being half fallen, she isn't able to fight off being infected with demon or angelic blood and finds her desires changing. At times, especially when among demonic kind, she finds her mindset becoming more malicious and her intents darker. As time wears on, she is finding herself more aligned towards the darker side, although she keeps trying to deny it to herself.
Leila did return to her time travelling pursuits in time, but was much more careful of it. Eventually, she found herself observing the city of Orion. She was wandering through the forested outskirts when she was approached for trespassing. Having expended much energy before that point, she was easily taken in and brought before the leader of the faction. On her way to the leader she found herself admiring how well the people took care of the forest and its inhabitants and expressed a desire to live among them to the faction leader. The leader was quite hesitant as she smelled the blood that was infecting Leila and recognized its scent. Leila was allowed to live among the people and eventually given more freedoms as well as trust, but she still remains monitored should the blood become an issue in the future.
Anything else to know: She does not like pink. Catch her in a more demonic and dark mindset and you will suffer consequences if you give her something pink.
