"Maybe...." Obi had a thoughtful look on his face.
"How about..." Code started. "We go through the shoreline, enter the water about a mile away and look for an opening in the ship?"
"You think there's going to be a magic door at the bottom of a ship?" Ethel questioned. "Remember that movie we saw on one of those things the humans used.... Um... a tv?"
<Member they on a island and have been on the mainland a few times due to... another human ;o But they were kind and taught them a few things about humans =w=>
"Yes, the girl sneaked into the ship through the top... But she killed people while doing that..." Ara said.
"And an alarm went off." Code finished for her.
"You think that ship has an alarm?" I peeked through the large weeds that provided cover for us. They were lined up in rows, but i could barely see people. I was too far away to get a better look.
"Of course it does!" A vampire said. We looked over at him. "All those huge ships have them, for safety!"
"Maybe we should just hope for a miracle and go with Code's plan." Obi suggested.
"One or 2 of us goes." Code said. "No need for all 14 of us to go."
"Me and Odin are not acompanying you." The old vampire said. "I want to die on my home land."
"Well respected." A vampire named Dweezil said.
"As for me and my sister also."
Ok, so 10 of us are going.... 5 nekos and 5 vampires.... great...
"Whos going??" Ethel asked. "Oooh! Can i? Can i?? Pleeeease??!"
"Ok ok." Code snapped at her.
"I wanna go with Ethel." My voice caught Code and Ara by suprise.
"No no no...... ok..." Ara said. "I'll fly over you guys and then youll signal to me if youve found a way in."
..... Ok then.
We parted from the group and walked to a nearby mountain range.
"In here is good?" Ethel said, looking into the water.
"Yeah, maybe we can get..."
"No no no! Some of them are mean!" She whined.
"What if one of us drowns? And besides, they wont try to drag us or anything with all this chaos happening!" I leaned over into the water and felt my tail being pulled. "Stop it!" I snapped at her. She pouted and let my tail fall.
I poked at the water a few times and waited for about a minute.
Glowing blue eyes appeared under the surface and a pale blueish looking woman emerged from the water.
"Can you help us?" I asked.
Her tail stuck out of the water and flopped back in.
That sign meant yes!
I whispered out plot into her perked ear and let Ethel enter the water as the mermaid swam towards the ships.
I was lucky the creatures here helped eachother so much.
I slowly slipped into the murky water and began my long swim towards the ships and felt like vomiting.
What if we get caught? What will happen to Mio!? What if the others come looking for us and get caught also?!
I tried to breathe in slowly but the swimming didnt help at all.
Ethel was 3 feet in front of and the mermaid popped up beside me.
She indicated with her finger to follow her.
I nudged Ethels back, and told her that the mermaid found soemthing.
She didnt even look tired!
We swam for about 4 minutes and came to the ship Mio was supposed to be on. She swam near the back of the ship.
Talking was heard and alot of growling and hissing on the ship, a few cages slamming, and a few bullets added to that.
The mermaid pointed up at a door 6 feet from the surface.
How the hell are we supposed to get up there?!
"I hope its unlocked at least..." I said.
"Gimme a boost!" Ethel whispered loudly.
"Wha?!" She climed onto my shoulders, making me swallow salty water and gasp for air.
"You dumbass!" I hissed, feeling the water burn my throat.
I tried to hold onto the edge of the boat and hold still while she attempted to reach the door.
"Shut up and try to push me up!" She streched her arms towards the large door handle about 2 feet from her grasp.
"Ngh! Your gunna leave bruises on my shoulders!!" I squeaked but tried to put a hand under her foot and make her reach the stupid door.
Luckily she didnt weight that much ._.
"Ahh! I can feel it on the edge of my fingers!!" She panted.
I tried to extend my arm farther but it ached.
The mermaid looked around to check if anyone had spotted us.
No one thankfully.
"Its unlocked!!" She whispered loudly at me.
I looked around for Ara and threw my arms in the air, signaling there was a door.
