Dreams
I had an odd dream last night. I don't remember all the details, even right after I woke up, but I'll try my best to relate it to my fellow Gaians.
So I was at a movie theatre with my dad and my uncle and my grandfather. We were intending to watch Star Wars II, but all of the sudden an announcer lady walked up to the front of the theatre with a microphone (similar to a stewardess on an airplane right before she tells you all the safety info) and asked if anyone in the theatre had not seen Star Wars I. 3 people raised their hands, so Star Wars I began to play, and apparently Star Wars II would not play until Star Wars I was over. However, for the rest of the audience's viewing pleasure they could go into one of two side rooms still in the theatre and watch either Finding Nemo or some odd movie that I have never heard of and probably made up in my dream, 'Madi 1'.
And as always, she was there with her radiant eyes and long pretty hair, and...
Anyways.
My uncle and I were quite angered by this delay, but apparently my dad and my grandfather didn't take it too badly. So we decided to go around and talk to people, so we started to walk around the theatre which suddenly became huge. Like the size of a football field.
Anyways we were walking, and this is the odd part about the dream that made it really stand out. The dream started to play a song that I had only heard once in my life ever before.
I'm not too sure about the title, but it was "Come on down to Uncle John's Band" by I'm pretty sure the Grateful Dead.
I knew snippets of the tune, and the only lyrics I knew where the aforementioned, so basically it didn't actually play the song. But I could recognize it. It went along like
Come on down to Uncle John's band, hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmmm...
My lack of lyrics knowledge forced the dream to hum along to the rest of the song.
However if I'm not mistaken that song is about dying, right? Or has something to do with death? eek
But I'm not going to be superstitious. Happy Gaia-ing, everyone! biggrin
