Zysterica
The book that I hope to publish one day.
A sample of "Zysterica" :

We poked our heads through the channel door that connected the Dream Skape to the other channels. Before us was an immense cliff with pure green grass that looked unseen or untouched. Gentle, azure waves swished and fought down below the cliff's cove. Fireflies and crickets talked to each other within the gentle breeze of the night. The moon reflected off of the ocean perfectly. I wanted to stay around for a little, but the rest of our group wasted little time. Guy and Ellie grabbed the pink dust out of the bag and sprinkled it onto the grass into the shape of a glyph. I knew Blake wanted us to hurry, but I felt bad that this glorious piece of nature was to be wasted. Guy, Fimmy, and Clara were standing around the glyph waiting for me to join hands with them. Guy stood at the top of the glyph, which represented the North. Fimmy stood for the East, and Clara stood for the West. I stood for the south. The air tickled my hair as I joined hands with Fimmy and Clara. We looked at each other, took deep breathes, and began to chant:

"O' wonderful Zysterica. We summon thee to open the door to the Underground Blood Pond. Please, accept our wish, and bestow apon us the gift of safety. Release!"

With those words said, a sudden burst of air slammed all of us in the face. It was as if we were the barriers to a rapid tornadoe trying to break free. Still, we held on and on and never let go until the gush of wind calmed down and the grass turned into a smokey gray. Suddenly, giant pillars covered in eerie vines slammed onto the cliff to create a circle around us. I jumped, but it looked like everyone else was calm.
The ocean around us began to grow restless and violent. Before we knew it, it also started to drizzle. It was fascinating because Dream Skape was never witnessed raining. I was completely amazed, and it looked like everyone else was too. I sighed, and let go of Fimmy and Clara's grip.
"So, are we suppose to go now?" I asked quietly.
"Yeah." Guy said in approval.
Fimmy placed her hand on her hip. "I still don't see what Blake wants us to see. I mean, if it's anything like he says it is, we'll be staring at piles of blood."
"True, but Blake clearly announced that there was something he wanted to get, rather than just seeing. I wonder what it was." Clara replied.
"Whatever it is, he said it won't be hard to spot. So I say let's go right now." Guy snapped. He received odd stares, but managed to ward them off. The smokey gray grass whistled as the wind began to pick up again, and the waves continued to argue with each other.
Together again, the four of us joined hands in a line. We slowly walked to the edge of the cliff, and looked down into the tempting sea. It was beginning to get cold as well. Ignoring it, I said, "Let's go on three." And I began:
"One....Two..." I said hesitating. "Three!"
All combined, we leaped into the air off the chilly cliff. We began freefalling, and began screaming for our lives. It seemed like forever falling from the cliff, we didn't realise it was so high up. In a matter of minutes, we finally got down near the water. My breathe was taken away by the reaction though. As soon as we touched the water, it went away like dust blowing away in the wind. We could see the sand at the bottom of the ocean, and the sea creatures swimming away into the darkness. I smiled at the sight. Little fireflies began to appear from no-where, and they flew all around us with little greetings and chants and songs. We were somewhat floating in a navy blue valley of nothing. But then after awhile, things became quiet again.
A little walkway made of cracked rocks started to form in front of us. I gasped as it formed the side railings, and the supporter legs way under. The four of us started to drift down on to it, and when we touched the rock, the fireflies and sea animals were no where to be seen.
"It's beyond that door?" Guy asked, pointing to a golden door at the end of the walkway.
"I would suppose so..." Fimmy replied.
Slowly, carefully, we began to walk towards the door before us. Completely silent, we continued to walk as the walkway faded away behind us. The rocks blended in with the color of the background. I felt a little queasy in my stomach.
I was too worried on the rocks passing away behind us that I didn't notice we reached the door. I swiftly turned around, and stared as Guy raised his hand. He looked at us, and then back at the door.
"And with this," he began, "we will discover the mystery behind Blake, Flower, and the rest of the tragedies that fell apon Bridge."
He reached out his hand to grab the door knob, but suddenly, streaming, beat-red blood began to pour from the top of the door. Fimmy screamed, and I attempted to hold my hands in front of my mouth. The door began to open from the other side. I turned around to see random purple butterflies rapidly flying everywhere. I was confused. Blake never said this was suppose to happen. The butterflies began to scream like dying women, and started to attack each other.
I turned back around to witness that the door was cracked now, and a bloody eye was staring straight at us.
