Description: Raito is a young man with a strong sense of justice. Since birth he has resented everything evil and after his powers awakened, Raito used them to eliminate evil in the name of justice. He strives to become law and take judgment into his own hands. However, unlike most modern heroes, Raito doesn’t just defeat his enemy. He kills them. To him, the world is rotten, and those who rot it deserve to die. He strives to make the world a better place by killing off those who make life worse for society, those that the world would benefit from having removed. It is debatable whether or not Raito is a hero for his acts, or simply a psychotic murderer himself.

Quirks: Raito occasionally sits in odd positions such as crouching in his chair. Raito wears a bracelet on his right wrist which he rarely takes off. This bracelet belonged to his best childhood friend who was killed protecting Raito from a house fire.

The main idea of this character came from Light Yagami from Death Note. So tryyy to be open minded here. xD
The date is August 2nd 2002, a young Raito is at his home in Kyushu, Japan. Raito’s father passed away when he was only ten, and with no other living relatives, Raito became the young heir to his father’s fortune. His best friend, Shinji Kuruma was over at his house to celebrate his birthday with him.
Shinji presents Raito with his most cherished possession for the occasion, a bracelet given to him by his now deceased brother, with the kanji for ‘God’ embedded in the bead. The two decide to go in for refreshments. As they turn toward the house, they see smoke seeping out of the windows. As they rush in, they find the front side of the house had been set ablaze.
The fire had mostly spread to the back side of his house. Raito and Shinji rushed into the house to call the fire department. As they ran into the living room, a burning board fell from the ceiling, instinctively thinking, Shinji shoved Raito out of the way.
The board collapsed on Shinji, killing him instantly. As he screamed, Raito noticed a man in dark clothing amidst the smoke, a wicked smile on his face. Tears welled in Raito’s eyes as anger and sorrow mixed together within him.
As he let out a scream of pain, the man the bolted out of the front door and disappears. Tightly clutching the last memento of his best, and only friend, Raito bolts from the house with a vow to thwart evil, and to bring the man who caused him so much pain, to justice.


The date is May 13th 2007, Raito has graduated from Japan’s best university with honors. Raito has greatly grown since the horrific incident in 2002 that he has all but forgotten. He has grown into a strong, intelligent and serious individual, his sense of justice is just as powerful, if not more, than when he was younger.
Since the incident in 2002, Raito has discovered much about himself, he has discovered that he is different from normal people. His capabilities are greater. His body is stronger, and he is able to learn more and faster than the people around him. Not only that, but Raito has come to realize that he has powers beyond that of normal humans.
Raito has been gifted with complete control over electrical current. He can emit it from his hands as shockwaves, bolts, currents, he can use it to fly, and he can even open electrical locks and drain energy from anything electrical to heal his wounds. He also has moderate psychic abilities.
It is believed that these powers lay dormant in him and at some point were awakened due to his will to rid the world of wicked people. Raito has become known as the being Tenchu, or ‘Heaven’s Punishment’.
He uses his powers to rid the world of people who would wish harm to others, those who society would be better off without. He passes judgment on the wicked, and intends to become the law of the world.
Along his trials and tribulations, he will meet a being almost as old as pain itself, a being who has suffered great pain, a being who shares his ideals of a perfect world…
