right... anyway... I haven't added an entry in such a long time, so I figured I'd toss one on here to let everyone know what's what, ya know?
First and most cool-ly: I now have an apartment!!! !! ...!!! I do have a roommate, but he's my friend from school and pretty cool, so it's all good. Our apartment is two floors, the second and third in a house, and has 2 bedrooms, 1 1/12 bathrooms, a fair size kitchen, plus a nice big living room and an extra room the can either be a third bedroom or storage or something.. we've got two off-street parking spaces and even have a completely empty basement that we can use for an FX shop or something! ...although, i haven't been down there since we moved in.... it's slightly too low-ceiling and cob-webby for me to be down there a lot. Low ceilings + cobwebs + long, flowy hair = not good + spiders in hair - temporary sanity.
I was thinking about it and decided that if I make my own little FX company or partner in a company, I'd like to name it Glinteye Productions... I say this so I have documented proof and noone can steal the name since it seems so spiffy. So yeah, try it and I'll sue your buns! buns? bread? pastries? oh... I'm so hungry.....
ANYway... as far as school goes, I'm only partially happy to announce that I (should) be done with college sometime this December! ......... ........ ....... o.o ..I'M NOT READY TO GO!! ... *hurls*
I'm almost done with this quarter (the summer quarter) and only have two weeks before it's history.. As far as classes go, I'm doing ok in all except one as far as I know. The one I'm not doing so hot in I'm considering just dropping and taking next quarter. That way I can have more time for other projects and I'll have a head start on it in the fall. The other good thing about that is that I only had three classes to go, so I TECHNICALLY wouldn't be a full-time student next quarter, but a fourth class would push me over to full-time.
In my love life-....... *cough* ...well, moving on.
One of my good friends may be able to get me a job teaching English in Slovakia in January! She's not confident about it since it'd only be for six months, but she said it'd be cool to try, ya know? It'd mean that I'd have to find someone to pick up my part of the lease for that time, but I'd even be willing to let them use my stuff while I'm away (ie: bed, computer, closet) so maybe it would work... I dunno.
