Entry #6: Deck Jack, Crescento, And The Halls This Christmas

Dear Journal,

Yeah, it's me here. I know, it's been an extremely long time since my last entry. I guess the happenings of the last major Gaian event put me off. I mean, it was fun with the war between B.O.O. and S.I.N. going on, and I didn't even mind that the Overseer lost. But seriously, the entire ending was pretty anti-climatic, and I get the feeling that we were merely robbed of our time and effort helping out in the first place. Screw Jack. I'm probably gonna boycott next year's Halloween.

Anyway, despite our dissatisfaction with the entire event, I guess life moves on. And soon enough, it's already the winter season. Fun times as always, with the new emergence of the new Monthly Collectible, along with other winter- and Christmas-related stuff. But as always, with a new season, always comes a new dilemma in the Gaian world. Guess it's a jinx of some sort, if you asked me.

So, this time around, it seems that Santa's gone missing. Again. Not with a cow this time around, however, but I get the feeling that haughty Crescento p***k has something to do with it. Anyway, it seems that both our dear Overseer and Sentinel were kicked down, but not out. Though they seem to look like a couple of hobos now, it seems like they're bent on saving Christmas this year, due to Santa's A.W.O.L. status. Somehow, I suspect that they have an ulterior motive to this.. I'm not sure. They probably have a pretty cromulent reason for that.

Ever since they started trying to make that airship, I've been quite impressed by what the Gaian community have been up to. More and more presents have been pouring in to help them power the Cheer Engine (which, I'm pretty sure, I've seen that damn thing around before somewhere). While they're at it, I do hope that some good-natured Gaians would be more than willing to donate some clothing for our lovely demi-gods too.

Right, I've noticed that quite a number of Gaians seem to be making frequent trips to the stores of late too. Sure, they're seen caroling in groups quite a lot, but I get the feeling that they're just buying crappy simple clothing to feed the Cheer Engine. Call me paranoid, but I swear I saw this guy carrying out over nine thousand shirts from Gambino Outfitters and throwing everything into the Cheer Engine. Whether it was to impress Sasha, or to be more giving, I don't really know. Eh, I guess it's the thought that counts, huh?

Last thing to note, since we've been caroling a lot, we've been earning some gifts from the shopkeepers as well. I'm pretty amazed that their ears haven't dropped off due to some more-than-horrible voice pitches. But that's besides the point. Check out my full outfit from them. biggrin

Makes me look like one of those tree huggers, if you asked me, but oh well. I guess it's better than wasting a few million Gold just for the sake of Christmas. Righto, the Cheer Engine is almost half-full, and the event is ending on the 23rd. Full speed ahead with filling the tank. TALLY-HO!
