It's been 13 years since Chi Tsukiko destroyed her whole clan, not knowing that there were two remaining survivors, her younger sister Kimiko and the baby that she was giving birth to in a neighboring village. It was a beautiful baby boy when asked what she was going to name him she said Kairu. After Kimiko had regained enough of her strength she returned along with her child to her clan's village, and when she arrived she was shocked to find that everyone had been killed except for her. As she was walking through the village with Kairu in her arms she was struck from behind with sixteen shuriken. As the shock made it's way through her body she dropped her baby and the fell to the ground where she lay along with Kairu in a pool of her blood. As Kimiko lay beside her child slowly bleeding out for the shurikens she could now hear Chi's menacing laughter getting closer.
"Hahahaha I've done it I've destroyed everyone!" laughed Chi.
Chi had turned and noticed her sister was still clinging to what life she had left so she knelt at her side.
"why?" gasped Kimiko
"It's simple baby sister this was just a test of my abilities,no one else at the training center could match my power! so I decided to test the power of our clan and some of them put up a good fight, but no one could match my power!" replied Chi
"But why" cried Kimiko
With what strength she had left she tried to crawl toward her son who was laying on the ground a few feet from her crying, she got half to him when Chi stuck three more shuriken into her back.
"Ahhhhhhh" yelled Kimiko
"Goodbye my son" gasped Kimiko with her last breaths
As Chi watched her sister die she noticed why she was crawling away, the baby boy that was laying on the ground crying.
"Well well who have we here?" Chi wondered out loud
Chi read the bracelet that was Kairu's wrist
"So your Kairu Tsukiko, well I guess I'll let you live" said Chi
By now Kairu was playing her long black hair that was now soaked by the rain that had just started. It was soon til Kairu fell ill and Chi figured the only way the boy would live is if she could manage to seal the nine headed kame with in him.
"I know this will be the most difficult thing I've ever tried, but i owe it to him" thought Chi.
"Great nine headed kame I am here to ask you a favor that i will always be in debt to you for doing" said Chi
"And what is this request?" asked the almighty kame
"Will you give my nephew some your power so he can be healed of the the illness that he has" replied Chi
"Why should I give my power to a member of your clan after what you did?" said the kame
"Because I'm begging you, please help him!" yelled an mad Chi
"I am sorry little lady but I'll have to pass" laughed the Kame
After the Kame said that a battle for the ages ensued, the battle ended when Chi sealed the mighty nine headed kame in the body of Kairu.
"Come on Kairu wake up please wake up" cried Chi
Kairu let out a hardy cry and Chi breathed a sigh of relief and that's when she noticed that his eyes and hair had changed for the deep shades of brown and black to one of the most beautiful deepest shades of seafoam green she'd ever seen.
"I'm so happy that you made it, I don't know what I'd if i lost the last part i have of my baby sister,some day i will tell you what I did and I that you'll be able to forgive me" said Chi
Ten years later...
"Come on Kairu time for some training" shouted Chi
"Uggh why cant we just take a break today?" complied Kairu
"well course.....not silly" chuckled Chi
"Please sensei" pleaded Kairu
"Maybe tomorrow alright, now grab your shell pack and lets head to the training area" said Chi
"Fine, but remember you said that we are going to take a break tomorrow" sighed Kairu
"I said maybe" joked Chi
Several minutes later....
"COME ON NOW! YOU NEED TO FOCUS MORE!" yelled Chi
"WELL HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FOCUS WHEN I HAVE A CRAZY LADY YELLING AT ME TO FOCUS MORE!?" Kairu shouted back
"I'm sorry Kairu, I didnt mean to yell at you" said Chi in an apologetic way
"It's okay" replied Kairu
"Now what i want you to do is to focus on that tree's shadow and I want you to try and make it explode, do you understand? It's a vital part of our clans abilities." explained Chi
"right make it explode, wait did you say our clan?" asked Kairu
"uhhhhh no i didn't, i said its a important ability to have in battle" quickly said Chi
"Oh okay then" Kairu said with a smile
Now it took Kairu the bettter half of the afternoon to get hang of the shadow explosion genjutsu. Chi felt with a little bit more time he'd be able to use it on a person. As the days grow on Kairu's shadow explosion grow more more powerful, and when the time was right Chi decided Kairu should test the shadow explosion on a person.
"Alright Kairu are you ready for your test?" inquired Chi
"Uhhh what test you never told me that i was going to have a test" replied Kairu with a look of shock
"Well of course silly, why wouldn't you have a text on the genjutsu i thought you" joked Chi
"Uggh fine, whats the test?" asked Kairu
"For your test Kairu I want you to use the shadow explosion genjutsu on a person, do you understand?" questioned Chi
"I think I do" responded Kairu
"Lets hope he does" thought Chi
Chi and Kairu sat just off the main road to the closest village and waited for an unexpecting person to walk past so Kairu could jump out and use the shadow explosion on them
"I forgot to ask but what does the genjutsu do" inquired Kairu
"well you see the shadow release or shadow explosion echnique is an effective genjutsu that makes the foe see that his shadow has exploded, now keep in mind this works better in the day" explained Chi
"Oh I see" said Kairu
"Will you stop talking I wasn't done, now where was I? ahh yes now the foe will also be temporarily blinded" illustrated Chi
"Wow that's so awesome" yelled Kairu
"Will you pipe down someone might hear you and then we'd never get to see how far you've come with your genjutsu" pointed out Chi
hours apon hours past and no one had past where Chi and Kairu were.
"Ugggh this is so boring Chi can we please go do something else? complained Kairu
Chi turmed and asked "you wanna do something else?"
"Yeah" smiled Kairu
Chi then turned her back to Kairu so he wouldnt see her to the hand signs for her shayugan.
"What are you doing?" asked a puzzled Kairu
Chi turned back around looking at the ground so Kairu couldnt see her tear filled eyes.
"Whats wrong Chi?" asked Kairu
"I'm sorry to do this to you Kairu but I cant take it any more" sobbed Chi
"WAIT DO WHAT!?" yelled Kairu
Chi looked and and Kairu could then see her eyes and the sadness in them. And without warning Chi punched Kairu in the stomach. A brutal beating ensued. By time Chi got done Kairu was in a bloody mess on the ground.
"W-why?" gasped Kairu
"Because I want you to feel how your mother felt before I killed her, only im not going to kill you yet, your gonna lay there and suffer" whispered Chi as she sat next to him.
"Nephew i must leave you now." said Chi
"But why?" cried Kairu
"Because I have bigger and better things to get on with in my life instead of trying to teach you" exclaimed Chi
And with that remark Chi swiftly kicked Kairu in the head knocking him out.
Kairu finally awoke after hours to find him self laying in the forest alone.
"Eh my head is killing me right now, where did Chi go" wondered Kairu
Kariu tried to remember what had happened earlier in the day with Chi.
"Ah that's right she kicked me in the head, man can she hard" smirked Kairu
He staggered to his feet still a little dazed from the blow he had taken earlier in the day. as he stood where he'd fallen, he herd a twig snap.
"Who's there! Show yourself!" screamed Kairu
And just as he said a strange man with three swords on his back and his hair as bright as thunder suddenly landed in front of him.
"Ahh man whos's this guy?" thought Kairu
"Calm yourself young one, we are not here hurt you. My name is Renjiro Yamada"said Renjiro
Kairu looked around to see if there was anyone else.
"Uh I don't see anyone else here other then you and me Renjiro" laughed Kairu
And just as he said that two others landed next to Renjiro, one was a woman with long dark hair and she carried two swords on her back, and a man of medium height with two giant shuriken on his back
