Personality:Though Desumo may seem distant or aloof, he is rather kind and compassionate underneath his slightly impassive demeanor. It is usually not too easy to gain his trust, but he does have a soft spot for children. Unlike most Hyouketsu, Desu is not easily provoked into battle and prefers to avoid unnecessary conflict. Even if he is fighting passionately to protect his beliefs or someone he cares for, Desumo is typically merciful and unwilling to end a person's life.

Background Information:
During the earlier years of his life, Desumo was raised by his mother in the city Congela. He had never met his father, who was a fallen angel. Desumo's mother, Lillian, decided to keep the boy's angelic heritage a secret from him, telling him that his father was a heroic man who had died fighting in a war. When Desumo was seven years old, his mother was murdered in front of him while he hid from the small group of people invading his house. His mother's last words to him were telling him to flee. The boy escaped unharmed, never learning that his mother had been killed as a consequence of her relationship with his father. The incident is something that Desu can only vaguely remember. From that point on, Desumo had struggled to get by on his own, taking whatever work that became available to him. He lived rather independently, reluctant to rely on others for help or support. Desu stayed within Congela through his mid-teens, when he decided to leave the cold hearted city in search of more pleasant company. Desu now travels often, typically frequenting other Kirisame cities. He will stubbornly refuse to talk about his childhood openly, preferring not to dwell on the past. He is still unaware of his angelic heritage and seems to have no extra powers or abilities from his mixed race.
