A genderbend spell cast on purpose by the seven deadly sins, but it was only suppose to affect the seven heavenly virtues. An accident happened and the spell was accidentally spreaded through the whole school, staying permanently there. Once a person or student enters the gates of Yuuhi Academy, he/she will turn into the opposite gender. Once the person exits the school grounds, he or she will turn back to normal. He or she will have 24 hours to drink the antidote. Though, if not, after 24 hours, the person will once again transform into the opposite gender, but they will stay that way forever.

The school still cannot find a spell that will nullify the effects of the genderbend spell, so they just decided to let the spell be while they develop a potion. This potion will null all effects of the genderbend when drunken outside of school grounds. The teachers of the academy, however, are not affected by this genderbend curse, because they are given a bracelet of null.

Because, it's one of the best private schools out there for non-humans, despite the genderbend curse. The students there will be able to learn more about their powers and maybe even develop new powers. The students however, even the children of the seven sins and virtues, haven't been told about the genderbend curse yet. They would have to find out about the curse themselves and cope with it. But they are told beforehand, that they cannot leave the school grounds once they enter the gates.
