Let's all simmer down a bit...

To everyone who I have been scream weeping at about my breakup recently, I am so sorry for doing that to you.
Things have now changed, I am now fine I guess. I spoke to a wise friend of mine who basically told me a great deal of truth about myself and my relationship and why it failed.
I now understand why it failed and how by my own ignorance and ego I let it happen and then acted like I was the one who was wronged. You never really appreciate what you've got until it's gone.
So I sent my ex a letter apologising for everything and then.. That's it. I'll never speak to her again or attempt to do so. I owe her that much for all the happy memories. Maybe she'll talk to me again, maybe she won't. As long as she's happy, that's the important thing.

The man who never made any mistakes never built anything. I've made a great deal of mistakes, for most of my life? I think I should probably start learning lessons from them.

Maybe I should read that self-help book... Take a break from life and stress and turn the spotlight unto the self.
That sounds a bit too zen for me, but let's give it a go.
