Chapter 1: Rebirth
It was a dark desolate day. Jak was making his usual announcements. Looking down from his platform he yelled out to the people below. "I demand a statue of myself be built in Oklahoma." He had enslaved the human race and was now our overlord. This wasn't how it always was, but his battle with Jonny and his heart being torn to shreds left him hurt. He started off small destroying cities and killing our leaders. Soon he demanded more, the world sent their armies to kill him but you can't kill a god. Is this oblivion or some kind of hell on earth? After the earth lost more than half of it's population we called upon a different sort of help. Jonny Sevenfold was happy to be given the chance to kill Jak. He was the only one on the planet able to hurt Jak. We needed him and he almost succeeded, but since Jak thrives on emotions Jonny failed. We have given up hope and there is nothing in this world that can save us. Except however, the Eternal Water. The Eternal Water is the only thing that can save us, but Jak knows about it and is looking for it. The Eternal Water has the ability to strengthen anyone to great levels. It turns 10 years of training into a single sip. When the Elders created the water they did not yet foresee the terrible events that would unfold. One of the Elders tested the drink and he grew impatient, stronger, and evil. Because of the way the water works he wanted more and more. The other Elders locked away the unholy liquid on a luscious, green planet. The Elder that drank the water was banished from the great haven of Euravia and sent to rot in a hellish wasteland forever searching for a way out. One day he escaped and formed the only thing that could even stand up to the Elders. They were called the Wraiths, a terrible alliance which made the heavens tremble when near. A great war started between the two groups that lasted thousands of years. In the final battle Elder Retna and three others finished off the last of the Wraiths by sacrificing themselves. This lead to the creation of the Powerful Light and the Blackest Night. Two powers so great, so powerful that if one unlocked the full potential the very universe and all the dimensions would be no more in a vast implosion. These powers were given to the chosen one to either destroy the darkness or embrace the evil. Jak was the chosen one and his darker side took over his feelings, thoughts, and emotions. The Light part of him was separated and now lies dormant in only god knows what part of the world. This story is more than how the darkness was destroyed. It's about the redemption of our Savior.
Getting back on track, there are two people walking in a desert somewhere. One of them is a woman about twenty-seven years old. The person she is walking with is about thirty-four years old. They have been searching for four years for a certain thing. Two weeks before this day they were in a town. An old man was telling the woman about the desert. He said many things can be found there. He told her about treasures and artifacts that she might find there. She wasn't interested in either of those things but she still went through the desert. Four days after they started walking through the desert they found something that told them the thing that they were searching for was there. It was a small piece of paper torn and scorched by the desert but still able to read. The paper read "I am becoming so angry lately... just seeing them together pisses me off. I am going to snap soon I can feel it." The woman simply looked at her partner and said, "He's here... I can feel his presence." The man looked confused and replied, "How do you know?" "I was with him in school for six years. We developed a close bond like a brother and sister's." The guy simply said, "Whatever, I seriously doubt that we're ever going to find him." She got a little angry and just continued to walk onward. The man looking confused again caught up a little later. "Hey! What was that about?" he asked. Angrily she looked at him. "Do you have any idea what is going to happen when we find him?!" He backed away a little bit. "No... but i hope it's not going to be bad..." " He could just as well be like the ******** d**k hole that's ruling our planet! But I trust him with my life, just as i did back before this." She let a tear drip from her face. The man put his hands on her shoulders, she was now crying very hard. "Look I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry." She tore from his embrace. "No it's not that... it's just that I am tired of all of this pain in this world... I would give anything to go back to our school days and just hang out and have it like it used to be." She stopped crying and went walking forward again. For the next few days all they did was walk and search for the person. After two weeks of searching they set up camp and tried to rest. The woman sent the man out to go search for some wood to keep the fire going. As he was walking he decided to mumble to himself. "Damn deserts, hot as hell during the day but cold as the middle of winter at night." He was walking a little more before saying something again. "Jeeze where am I going to find wood in a ******** desert? is it gonna fall out of the sky? Am I going to stumble over it? Or what is goi- whao!" He fell over something rather large and just started to laugh. "Seems I need to be careful of what I say, it may happen." He shined the light over the object he fell on and it seemed to be a piece wood buried in the sand. "I found some wood after all, well time to get it and take it back to camp." He started digging and the piece of wood only got longer, it had a weird shape though. He pulled off more and more sand uncovering more of the wood. At one point he was able to grasp it and tried to pull it out. Twenty seconds after getting a piece of it out he screamed. Startled the woman followed the glow from his lamp light and ran straight toward him. When she got to him he was laying on the ground in shock and horror pointing at the object in the sand. "Samuel what's wrong?!" she looked to what he was pointing at and was just at startled as he was. Samuel got some nerve back and made a statement. "It's a leg... it's a ******** leg." She looked at him again. "Samuel help me get the rest of the body out." He stared at her in horror. "Are you crazy? It's a bo-" she suddenly screamed at him "NOW!" and he got up to help.
They spent three hours digging to get the whole body out. Finally when they pulled it out the woman jumped up and screamed. "It's him! It's really him!" Samuel just looked confused again and asked, "Why did we spend 2 years looking for this guy?" She got really angry and yelled at him. "Because he is the only thing that can save us now from Dark Jak!" She pulled some water out from her belt and poured all of it on the man's face. Samuel got infuriated and said, "What the hell did you do that! that was our last jug of water!" The woman still staring at the body in front of her just replied, "Trust me Samuel. He's going to help us." She pulled out something covered and tied but cloth. Unraveling the cloth revealed a glowing liquid. Samuel jumped up in shock and began to yell, "Where in the hell did you get some of the Eternal Water?" Pouring the water down on the body's face she told him, "It was a little trick just incase we would need it." Jenny was still talking to Samuel when something horrible formed right beside them. It screamed startling both of them and summoning others. "What the hell are these things?" Samuel screamed. Jenny looked back at him crying, "Samuel I'm sorry! The water must have attracted them." "Doesn't matter let's just..." He was cut off as one of them appeared right in front of him screaming and raising it's hand. Samuel punched but his fist went right through and he fell to the ground screaming for the icy insides of the beast was too much for him to take. Just then several of them surrounded Jenny. "Help me!" she screamed as one was about to pierce her with it's right arm. Screaming and confused the creature looked at it's arm for it was now missing. A person was speaking, it was a man. His voice was soothing and sent out a feeling of safety. "You dare harm her and I'll send you to hell so fast Saiten himself won't know your there!" They all looked at the man who was slowly walking to them. A familiar face gave Jenny hope as all the figures focused on the man. He jumped onto one of them sending it to the ground then ripped off another's leg stabbing it into a third one. The rest of them disappeared in fear as they watched there allies die before them. "Jenny are you ok?" the man asked. Jenny looked up and still in shock and awe that he was here. "Yes," she answered. Looking down to her he asked another question, "What about your friend?" She was a little confused then yelled out, "Oh god Samuel! We need to help Samuel!" "Already on it," he said picking up Samuel. "Let's get back to your camp site."
At the camp site Samuel was in his tent with the man giving him a special remedy he made to take off the pain and heal him. Jenny walked in looking at both of them. "I can't believe it's really you. You were gone so long and everyone was giving up hope that they would ever feel freedom again." He looked back at her. "Well if you didn't find me those creatures would have killed you and Samuel." Jenny was silent for a moment and was about to speak when the man began talking again. "If it's about Dark Jak then yes I plan to do something about it. I am a little weak right now so I need to gather some strength, both physically and in numbers." "What do you mean Richie?" Jenny asked. "Sorry Jenny, Richie and I are not infused together. It's just me... Jak." He looked down to the ground in disgust. "I don't know where Richie is or if he is even alive... but that doesn't change the fact that I have to stop Dark Jak." He stood up and started walking out from the tent. Jenny asked another question. "Jak where are you going?" Jak stopped and stood there for a moment. "I don't know... but I have to stop this." He walked out from the tent and looked back at Jenny. Samuel made a groan so she looked at him and when she looked out of the tent Jak was gone. Back at Dark Jak's palace, he awoke from a dream about him with a girl. He stood up and walked to the balcony. Staring below to the people working he laughed at the pain he is causing. "Humans disgust me but their torment amuses me." He heard a voice calling up to the castle and when he looked down a familiar face was yelling at him. He listened as he was floating down to confront the person. "... you piss me off! Making these people work and enslaving them when you used to save them from every threat that ever came close to this planet." Dark Jak smiled. "Spenser." He whispered to himself getting closer and closer to him. "I hate you with every fiber of my being! What happened to the good within you?" Dark Jak appeared beside Spenser startling him. "He died with the rest of my weaknesses." he spoke answering Spenser's question. "I can't believe that you of all people would dare oppose me after what happened to that idiot Cody." Spenser pointed a gun at Dark Jak. "Cody died doing what he believed what right and what needed to be done." Still pointing the gun Spenser asked a question. "Do you feel lucky punk." Laughing Dark Jak replied. "Since we've gone into movie references how about you try this one on. Join me and we'll rule the universe as father and son!" Spenser backed away a little. "Your not my father and I would never join you!." Dark Jak punched Spenser and watched him fly back. "Pity." Dark Jak said rushing toward him. Spenser pulled out another gun and shot it at a near by column. He was now spinning around the column and sent right back to Dark Jak kicking him in the chest making him fly back. Dark Jak caught his balance and flew to Spenser again. "Seems those two months you spent training with me did give you some skills." Spenser landed and pulled out his first gun. He was aiming very carefully but Dark Jak was moving around too much. He put the gun away and pulled out a shotgun. Dark Jak landed near him and was circling him. "Guns don't hurt me, you should know that by know." Spenser fired the gun and flew to the ground. Dark Jak was hit with a powerful ball of energy sending him hurtling at a rock wall a few feet back.
When Spenser got up he walked over to Dark Jak and grabbed him by the shirt collar. "This isn't a normal shotgun. It fires an energy ball that can even hurt you." Dark Jak kicked Spenser and dragged him around by his leg. "Yes it hurt, but I am much more than a pitiful human." Spenser pulled out his first gun and began to aim. "I am a go.." Dark Jak was shot in the back. Little needles were sticking out and were glowing a red color. Dark Jak pulled them out and threw Spenser at the same column he swung around earlier. When Spenser got up he pulled out little vials from the back of the gun. Three of the vials were filled with a yellow liquid and Spenser drank them. Dark Jak yelled looking angrily. "So you drained some piss from my body and drank it big deal not like your going to defeat me." When Spenser was done he looked back at Dark Jak. "Well you can call it whatever you want but this is the reason why I'm going to kill you today." Dark Jak smiled. "Stupider ones than you have tried!" Spenser lunged at Dark Jak and jabbed him in the face. Dark Jak recovered and grabbed Spenser by the hair throwing his head into his knee. Spenser bit Dark Jak's knee and kicked him in the face. Dark Jak screamed and grabbed Spenser. He was bending him and Spenser screamed as you heard his spine crack. He pulled out the shotgun and smacked Dark Jak in his chest with it. The shotgun shattered as Dark Jak grabbed his chest letting Spenser go. Spenser threw his knee forward into Dark Jak's face. "How do you like that feeling b***h!" Spenser jumped into the air and did a spinning kick sending Dark Jak flying. As Dark Jak was flying Spenser caught up with him and kicked him straight into the ground. Spenser then jumped on him and began to choke him. Dark Jak was struggling to get up and get Spenser's hands off of him but he was too weak from the beatings he received to do anything. Dark Jak stopped struggling and stopped moving all together. Spenser got up and walked a little ways away from the body. He was staring down to the people. He noticed that they looked horrified and he realized what happened then turned around and just saw Dark Jak smiling before he felt a sharp pain surging through him. Dark Jak whispered into his ear. "You forgot about my sword." He pulled it out and walked away from the body. "Get back to your work or your going to be next!" Everyone started working again as Jak flew back to his palace.
Wind was now rushing around Spenser's body as a figure formed. "Don't give up friend it's not yet your time. We need to gather our forces and rise against this menace." Wind started rushing again and both Spenser and this new figure disappeared. Jak was now walking through the ruins of a small town. It was so horrible and terrible that Jak couldn't even stand to be there long, but something was telling him that he had to be there. A small noise was coming from one of the demolished buildings around the center of town. Jak closed his eyes and followed the sound vibrations. He was getting closer and closer before another noise was heard. Jak flung to the left of himself to see that there was a piece of creaked wood. Jak noticed something a little odd about it though. It was crushed and seem to be mash into the ground. Jak suddenly jumped forward barely dodging a blade being swung at him. He turned around and saw a man wearing armor. "Who the hell are you?" The man ran after him and threw three punches at Jak. He dodged them one by one then ran up to the man and threw a punch at him. The hit connected and Jak was sent flying back. "This is magic armor! You can't hit me unless the seal is deactivated!." Lying on his back Jak got up and replied. "I'll just have to turn it off then. By the way who are you." Lunging at Jak he drew a sword and tried to slice him in half. Jak moved out of the way and grabbed a rock. The man ran after Jak again and did a vertical slash. Once again Jak dodged and threw the rock at the man's helmet. The force from the hit knocked the man over. "So something can get through the seal." The man punched Jak and sent him flying toward some rocks. When Jak hit the rocks all of them fell toward him but he quickly moved out of the way. The man again punched Jak knocking him into the rocks behind him. The man was about to preform one final slice when a figure formed between them. Looking at the figure the man fell over and began to cry. "Tim... your alive." The figure looked down on the man and replied. "No. Tim died years ago. My name is Zen."
