It started with Lauren Harris, that I didn't knew, well, and it was a weak show, except for the guitarist, whose name I don't know, but he saved the band performance.
After that the real show began. As a starter, Avenged Sevenfold totally rocked everyone, and the mosh pit was basically so ******** huge that nobody could stay away from it, I fell on the floor about 3 times, but everyone was cool enough to help me up. It took me by surprise the fact that everyone was participating because, it was a difficult crowd. I mean, there was Slayer and Iron Maiden after that, and there was allot of people over-30-years-old-sweaty-metal-heads, and it all could go wrong. But it didn't and it was a great show. And after those 45 minutes everyone wanted more, so we got a promise of them coming back by the new year. After that everyone was expecting a quick passed and brutal show from Slayer, and that was what we got. Again a massive mosh pit, allot of crowd surfers, and a hell of a show. Than the reason why everyone was there. Iron Maiden made the night, wonderful fire walls, pyrotechnic effects, and Eddie, the mummy, walking around. It was glorious, and obviously everyone got in an insane state by the time of "fear of the dark" and "the number of the beast". After that, I didn't "tasted" the 2 last shows. While Rose Tatto was playing I was having my dinner (and WTF? 8€ for a slice of pizza?) and by the time Tara Perdida was playing, I was gone.
Overall, it was a great festival day, and my 40€ were well spent.
(Oh, and I got a Avenged Sevenfold T-shirt, the last one, lucky me 3nodding )
