Wow it's been eons since I've been on Gaia. I'm a bad Gaiaian I guess lol

Anyhoo brief updates for me:

1) I'm working on a new convention in Bellvue WA, USA. no more anime cons for me to start up anymore, I've moved onto more niche markets lol. Check out Innocente Seraphim:

It's a 2 day (technically 3 day for pre-registered attendees) convention all about Japanese street fashion (gothic lolita, visual kei, fruits, ega steampunk etc etc) and also ball jointed dolls (BJDs). For fans of either (or both) hobbies it should be a great con. Admission includes access to tea parties, lolita bowling, concert (Kissing Violet) fashion shows, panels, workshops, dealers hall and more! There should be some exciting guests announced within the next few weeks and the $40 pre-reg price ends on the 31st!

2) I've been sucked into lolita fashion (not that I wasn't before just more so now). I've been sewing lately as well so I hope to have some stuff done by the time Anime Evolution comes around. If you are interested there's a lolita meetup and fashion show going on at AE this year.

3) I'm losing my job. The centre in Vancouver is closing and my last official day is Aug 7th. I get a nice big fat severance package though and a chance to go back to school if I want. So there's some good stuff going on. I'll probably work part time somewhere doing something fun and less stressful though the pay is likely to be less.

4) I'm turning.....well....old. My b-day is coming up on the 10th. Not sure what I'll do. Was thinking of renting out a room at the Women's University (it's an old edwardian mansion) for the evening and having a small party...might not though since AE is only 2 days after. meh...

5) Lolita meetup on June 6th. RSVP if you want to go for tea/early supper at Adonia and then to the night market! (Vancouver BC Canada in case anyone is interested) I posted on the van_tea_party community on LJ

Well I've managed to unpack the majority of my stuff! In about a week which isn't bad considering last weekend I was in the US and I work full time (on graves) and end up sleeping the rest because of the wacky schedule. So my house is quite clear and tidy.

Actually the main reason for this is because I had a doll meet at my house yesterday.

1) to act as a trial run to make sure that everyone was cool with having the big one in January here
2) to get money for a doll a bought for someone <-- main reason
3) to help someone with a documentary they wanted to shoot. (well I managed to stay out of it mostly - was so tired I could barely speak properly...and often not even that)

Anyhoo got me new dolls, getting a couple more and selling a couple now. We'll see how it goes.

Anyhoo I'm still trying to get drawings done today. Hopefully that will be all good. I'll try to find the scanner cable so I can actually scan in the new stuff. Other than that it's just been a little crazy. So hopefully I can unwind a bit and get stuff done.

Well no more old house to deal with thank god!!!!

Now just the new one. A great oppertunity to purge some junk that my family has been storing with me for years. Woot! My mother driving me bonkers >.< but hopefully she'll loose interest soon and leave me be for a while.

Funny how she's all about now that the move is done and not here when I needed help the most.

Need to get thank you gifts for Albert (he helped so much with the move - sure I got lectured a lot for things my sister and mom did but oh well) Jim (the nice old man at the new place who's part of the strata, he didn't have to help but he did smile )

Gonna try and get majority of the unpacking done in the next week so it's sem decent for when the mini meet happens >.< such a disater zone right now. Will pile the boxes and stuff up in the dining area if I can't get it all done....

Artwise I have some commissions and also Gaia art stuff to do. Which reminds me


I'm one of the 15 artists and my art alone usually goes for about 100k. 80 K high bid is a steal for 15+ pieces of artwork. Plus I get no gold if we don't get higher

Currently really busy....packing and cleaning....

moving house.....I love but hate it.

Another blog thingy...don't know how often I'll use this but meh good to have the option.

Hmm about me...well my friends already know me and I doubt anyone else will really look at this...

3) I used to run anime conventions locally on the west coast, most recently Anime Evolution and Sakura Con
4) I like most sports ending in ball...and then some
5) I love to travel (must go back to Hawaii again this summer)

I will be at Anime Evolution this year and also in the Artist Alley selling my artwork as well as my friend's who is also part of cyberJAR.com (check her out at www.hingkei.com). Our fortune game will be returning with a new twist this year and be on the lookout for tons of new items!
