InuYasha lept at the demon. The other boy joined in, but the girl asked Bella what was going on. Before she could awnser, she heard InuYasha yell,"We could use a little HELP over here!!!"Bella lept at the demon. She flung herself on it, and shot a black beam at it. The demon suddenly started to wail in pain."What the hell did you do?"InuYasha called. Bella just smiled. She loved to see it writhe in pain.It collapsed in a heap."InuYasha, filng it away!" the boy called. InuYasha slashed it and sent it flying. For a moment, the four of them just stood there in shock. Then Bella finally said"Thanks for helping me, InuYasha. And everyone else, too." They stared at her. At last the girl said "How do you know his name??" InuYasha nodded at her. Bella, at first, couldn't really give an awnser, she didn't reallt know. Then she remembered! "Well, we knew eachother." InuYasha snorted. "Yeah, right." Bella nodded. "no really! InuYasha, do you remember when you were a little kid? Our parents were friends, and we would play sometimes. we were always battling, and i know that you let me win sometimes, too." InuYasha stared, then suddenly nodded. "Oh yeah! I remember! we were always wrestling! how are your parents anyway?" Bella looked down to her feet. "...my...my parents are dead." The girl gasped. "I'm sorry." InuYasha said quietly. "so are mine" "I'm sorry too." Bella said. "so, what was that demon after you for?" The girl asked. "Oh! I almost forgot! i found something that it wanted. I heared from the other demons that you were collecting them." She held up the shard. "THE JELEL!!" InuYasha cried. " yeah, i don't want it;you can have it. I wanna be strong on my own." Bella handed the girl the shard. "..th-...thank you." she said, taking the jewel.
