Chapter 4
A Reoccurring Dream

After breakfast was over and Evan had cleaned the dishes both men packed up their hiking bags and started up the trail. Evan never brought up his dream even if he was positive his dad would not treat him like a patient. They talked about many things while also taking in the beauty of the woods that surrounded the two of them About half way up his father asked if they could stop for a little bit. Evan did not want to because frankly he could go on for hours, but he agreed. Both he and his father put down their packs. Evan and his father took out their water bottles from their packs and drank the water. His father leaned against a nearby tree while Evan lied down resting his head on his pack. He was only going to close his eyes and take in the beauty surrounding them when suddenly he felt as if sleep over took him. He awoke in the dream he had last night. This time Evan knew what he had to do he must ask this mysterious figure some questions. Evan thought that he had every right to after all the man was entering his dreams. When he was done plotting sure enough the fog came and surrounded him and the mysterious figure. The fog was everywhere the only place that was left with out fog was the middle where Evan and the mysterious character were standing. At that moment the figure started his speech again.

*When a child is born on All Hallo's Eve at the Bewitching Hour the child of two halves shall be born. When the child reaches his 18th year of birth the moon shall be reviled he will be in his human half, but he transformed into his other half on this night. This other half will be a beastly half . The child will receive a mark signifying the transformation. This will complete the child's change the child's transformation into half man and half beast.

*When the mysterious figure was done he started to fade away. Evan started yelling at him. He said,"WAIT! WHO ARE YOU? ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ME?" But it was too late the figure gone and the fog was slowly fading away.

*Evan was awaken by a violently shaking as well as his father's voice which increased in volume as he gradually awoke. Evan looked into his father's face and saw panic all over it. When Evan's father saw his panic subside. Evan looked around and realized they were back in the tent. He instantly said,"Dad what's going on? Why are we back in the tent?" His dad cleared his thought and said, "Evan you've been out for three hours." Evan's eyebrows went up and were hidden beneath his his hair. The only word he could form was "WHAT!" As if he did not believe his father he looked down at his watch and sure enough hours had past. Evan look at his father and back to his watch in disbelief. His father continued,"You were screaming your sleep so i carried you down here for your safety. You gave me quite a scare." Evans face was somber and he said,"Sorry dad I didn't mean to." His father said, "I know you didn't just never do it again." His father thought,"I would never forgive myself if anything ever happened to you. Especially if you never knew the truth."
