Easter has come and gone, and I missed a large portion of the event. Oh wells. Life just happens to get in the way from time to time. Losing my network and internet connection for hours was wonderful, but it did give me a chance to beat half-life 2 again. Forgot how intense some of the later levels can be. Fighting in the streets, guerilla warfare, all that.

I wonder if it's a bad note when you wake up on monday and wish it was thursday afternoon. Not that I have the worst job, but sometimes it's just hard to drag myself in for another 10 hour day. I need to win the lottery or fall a**-backwards into money some way or another. I mean, everyone wants that, but, I'm cool.. so I deserve it more.

It's almost april. Time is moving with a will of it's own, just messing with my head all willy-nilly. 3 months until mad craziness and travel woes. 3 months until convention time. The anticipation is almost tangible.. so close, but so far. Like a carrot on a string just out of reach and driving me forward.

I really have to start going to bed earlier. Averaging about 3 and a half hours of sleep a night, some nights less. It has a tendancy to chip away at the mind, make things seem a little disconnected and slow. After dealing with insomnia for three years, I'm physically capable of handling, and about as mentally capable as I can acheive. Still, doesn't make it any more fun. Just makes you cherish the sleep you can get all the more.

Really digging on this whole "beating the cat with a baseball bat" avatar. I'm a right horrible b*****d, and the image of a cute, chibified little man beting the everlasting piss out of a equally cute cat meks my evil parts tingle with glee. Evil tingles are sometimes the best kind. They almost beat out horny tingles.
