Beyond and Below the Edge of Waiting
I am the Mythos, the air you breath in slumber. I am the Abyss, you can find me in The Deep.
I wrap around all bodies; I teem within their souls; I choke to death the lives, of those which I hold.
In my stomach is a sleek pearl, a stone whiter than the clouds in the heavens or the snow in any country. It sees you, your children and the kin they will bear, the passages they will seek and the passages they will make.
My pearl, the Eye of Khandar.
A red, held inside, that cannot be seen, for it chooses not to show. Though it peers at all, it only peers into I.
"Only the holder of the Book may peer at, but not into, ABSU.
ABSU is complete, she is whole. ABSU is man, it is the beast.
Abyssal destruction, bearer of none, yet Keeper of all. A creature, acting, but non-existent.
It is in the earth and the hearts among it that ABSU waits. Never anywhere, always everywhere, above none and below all. That is where this vile presentation of horror corrupts itself."
Glow, behold, betroth the Abyss. Your Blood carries contract.
