Broken Angel I wrote this poem, fairly recently... Sweet truths slipped through a crack in the wall Sweeter lies whispered through the weakest line of defense You knew…somehow you knew exactly what to do Be… Say… And silently…so silently…an angel fell Down Down Down Deep into a joy like she’d never dreamed possible Deep into a love like none she’d ever known Far from cold Far from loneliness Far from despair Wanted you Needed you Confided in and believed in and trusted you… Loved you… But it fell apart before she could hold it together Slipped through her fingers before she could tighten her grasp Left her before she could fully embrace it Silently…so silently…the angel fell Down Down Down Deep into darkness that would never see light of day Deep into pain that would never know a healing touch Far from life Far from love Far from heaven Far from you… Used by you Wounded by you Cast aside by and discarded by and forgotten by you… Destroyed by you… There was no reason why And she’s not the same now Wings clipped Hope stripped A shell of what she once was A ghost of what she should have been There were many before But none that shone like her No doubt there will be many after But none that hurt like her With a smile and a light in your eyes, you were a gift of life Then with a grin and a farewell wink, you were a bringer of death Night falls A tear, then another, and another, And silently…so silently…the broken angel still falls By: ~Dreams of Eternity~

	Dawn, you are very much loved by each and every one of us. We care soooooo much about you. Don't you ever think that you are alone and will never be loved...Yes, you are an angel, a heavenly one, indeed, but we will never let you be broken. If this has already happened to you, I am so sorry...

	Oh, Dawn...were you crying when you wrote this? It seems like such a wonderful but yet depressing poem. I pray that this will not ever happen to you and if it has, I am sorry...You're a wonderful friend and individual...don't ever forget that! ^_^
