I met you when you were down.
You were cheerful when I came around.
Giggles and laughter filled your face with cheer.
Gleam and surprise held none of your fear.
You always knew what to say.
It had always brightened my day.
Someone to talk to when Im lonely or scared.
Being there when it seemed no one else cared.
Like brother and sister nothing more.
Though times change and we arent any more.
Having hidden feelings for you after all.
And how long did it take me to recall.
But once again Im too late.
How much longer will I have to wait.
Im starting to loose all my hope.
Thinking that you would come back, nope.
Walking down the beach with my friends.
Always walking into the ends.
I look and glance and see you and a girl messing around.
I turned around and started to Run my feet hitting the ground.
I saw you turn to look and get up to run after me.
dodging through people trying to keep up and watching the sun set from the sea.
The sky is getting darker, Im running for my life.
My feet are starting to feel like someone is stabbing them with knifes.
I run to the back of my house and on the canopy and cry.
You run up and sit down and ask me whats wrong at least try.
I sit there sobbing and try to explain.
As all my feelings for you are pouring like rain.
How Much I love you.
And How you didnt have a clue.
How much it hurts me to see you with other girls.
Playing with there locks of curly curls.
You just sit there and stare.
As if you could see what was coming nothing but rare.
I finally just give up and start to get up and leave.
But you stop me by tugging on the side of my sleeve.
I love you too, you yell with a shriek.
It left me quiet as crickets chirp not one of us speak.
Tears fill my eyes with grace.
Like we were both waiting for this time and place.
You pull me close and hold me tight.
Like in the end everything is alright.
You stroke my hair and whisper in my ear.
YOUR BEAUTIFUL MY DEAR.
The stars are now out, as we are both staring at the sky.
Like this is the best thing has happened since I have been alive.
You look at me with those eyes so emerald green.
Like the only thing around was me and you and the rest unseen.
You pull me in for a very romantic kiss.
That makes me think that true love really exists.
I kiss you back with the moment still here.
And that everything to me had become clear.
Savor this moment and make this last.
Because after this all the old memories are past.
True Love is here knocking on my door.
And Im not searching for it anymore.
