Sick
I am sick.
It is not the flu or the cold that I have, it is another sickness.
I scream with no reason.
I storm around and sometimes hurt people, I don’t know why.
I am sick.
People laugh at me when I cant control myself and make a mistake.
People scream at me when I do something wrong and I don’t know what I did.
People hurt me when I scream and break things and I don’t know why I did.
I am sick.
This illness is not cure able, I have it for life.
My life is controlled my pills but they don’t even completely control it.
I hate how I cant even control my life.
I am sick.
I am yanked, pulled, dragged and skidded around like a dog pulled on a leash.
No one wants to talk or play with me besides my family, and sometimes even they don’t.
I find comfort in toys that I can take apart, toys to show, I am alone.
I am sick.
My life is not easy, my life is a dark room with only me.
My life I cant even control but I shall live by.
My life where I can think but I cant do, only dream.
I am sick……
This story is a true story off of someone I keep close to me. A person I see work hard everyday, a person I see as a type of hero. He may be only 10, but he knows how life works. Lost his father at 5, lost his favorite Uncle at 6 and then grandfather at 6. He has known what life and death is everyday. A hero I call him because his life is controlled by his illness of bipolar and ADHD. He may have bursts of anger and cant take an argument seriously but I still love him and keep him the closest to my heart, my younger brother Ryan.
