so boys and girls if u didnt know i play drums and i would like to let yall know what i have been wurkin on. i realive that if you dont play drums you will be really confused by all the drum lingo but ehh.
so i popped on my the tom mark and travis show cd ( not realy the cd i have a iPod) and i noticed that travis plays a certain lick alot. it is a triplet but the first note is doubled up and split between the kit. it is played (B= bass drum, S=snare drum T=first tom tom, t=floor tom R=rest) BBSS,BBSS, BRS. he also played the floor tom in unison with the snare. i thought it was kinda kool. it created a kind of 3/4 over 4 feel anywho i thought i would share that with you. oh and if you would like to learn how to play something on drums let me know ill figure it out for ya.
