Koyuki was walking in the intense blizzard. The air was below freezing. Koyuki was glad she was wearing earmuffs. She was taking her children, Kaida and Gir, for a walk. But, she knew that a dangerous hunter was out to get her children. She brought her sun staff with her, hoping that the immense heat from it would drive the hunter away. She had begged Gir to put on warmer clothing but he refused, saying that he wanted to wear his diaper. Wanting to finish their walk before the blizzard blew in, Koyuki allowed him to. Kaida was afraid of the hunter, seeing as she is older, she understands the danger of the hunter. They had barely survived the last time they met the hunter. So Koyuki held her in her arms. The strong embrace of Kaida's mother made her feel at ease. But, little did they know, the hunter was secretly stalking them. When Koyuki realized something was wrong, she stopped in her tracks. Gir was so scared of losing his mother that he held strongly onto his mother's kimono. Suddenly, the hunter bursted from the shadows. Frightened, Koyuki dropped Kaida from her strong embrace. Koyuki grabbed her sun staff, hoping to frighten the hunter. However the hunter was unafraid, just like he was when he was hunting his prey. Koyuki reached for the power of her sun staff. The eruption of the flame was so powerful that it looked like a blazing dragon. The flame hit the hunter, blowing him away. When the sun staff's power was gone, the hunter was no longer there. It seemed that the eruption of flames from the sun staff burned the hunter to a crisp. All that was left of him was a small pile of ash and soot.
