The world turns

All is well now
As good as it could be
No time for wonder
As you let your eyes see

I woke up this morning thinking of you
I wondered what you got yourself into
This time
Through the day you kept popping in
I found it quite hard to forget you again
This time
I new from experience to just stay away
Who knows what kind of mood you're in today
This time
I'll sneak on by those excuses, defences
Maybe one day you'll come to your senses
This time

The moon shines
As the grass sways low
The world sleeps
As the sleepers now know
All is calm now
As sweet as the night
No thought of future
As you rein in your sight
