I look to the sky and watch the clouds fly by
Covering the stars acting as bars,
The moon in bloom,
The leaves light the path
To our dreams, covering the seams
Reality is a is a formality none of us can seem to grasp,
Yet so many of us ask.
Breezes blowing, cold water flowing,
Hearts beating, fleeing
Everything becomes opaque, out in my escape
The world becomes black, time turns back,
I close my eyes not wanting this to end, so I’ll pretend,
Time has stopped, the hourglass of time shattered.
My moment of peace
My piece of heaven.
