I have always been a fan of reptiles, and have always played an Iksar in EverQuest, so, I love to use the ability to gain reptilian qualities in my stories. Anyway, this is from the story I am writing, where I venture into a cave that's hidden in the snow. I find some interesting carvings on these pillars within the cave, and a stone tablet with a description. Anyway. There are two pillars, with the tablet in the middle of the two. The tablet reads: The knight whom wears these symbols shall arrive from the other world, and upon his entrance, he shall happen upon a girl. This pure queen of innocence he must save, or be returned to him the life he once gave. On the right, the pillar has a carving of a coiled up lizard with some carved writing underneath. It reads: The lizard's blood courses through his veins, shows it's power through his pains. Love him not in his blinding rage, for his body has become it's cage. To the left, there is a spawning pheonix carved within the stone, and the writing here reads: It's fires burn bright within it's magnificent wings, treasured more than the gold of kings. Hold him back to reach your goal, look into his heard and free his soul.
