Well, the band trip was pretty crappy.

It was pouring down rain, so we ended up freezing ourselves and my bari probably broke somewhere *Probably the supergloo got messed up, wouldn't surprise me. I bet Jessie's horn died. He had to duck tape his base clarinet together for the past month or so when it snapped in half sweatdrop *

So yes, I froze for my birthday....fun.

Then we actually had to march. I believe we did the best we have ever marched in prelims. I thought we were amazing, and our color gaurd rocked despite the fact that the band believes our color gaurd sucks, which they don't.

But, we still got 13th in prelims. -_-. F***. We believed that we weren't going on to finals, and we didn't want to. Much to our chagrin, we were to perform 4th in finals. Ours was the only band that, when our place in finals was announced, instead of a cheering, you heard a chorus of "NOOO!" I kid you not.

We didn't want to perform. We had done the best we have ever done, and got 13th. We suck. Our color gaurd was our only boost in points. They got 3rd in prelims and 2nd *Almsot first* in finals. Love them.

Anyways, we performed in finals. The moment we got off the field, our band director came up to us and said, "That was by for the most angry show I have ever heard." Too true. None of us wanted to be there, and so we played that through our intstruments. We wer pissed.

Even our soloist played angrily. She changed up her solo on the spot, and the last note was supposed to be played low, she took it up about two octives just to show how mad she was. It sounded pretty sweet actually.

That was the most fun I have ever had in a performance. I know we shouldn't have, but we had as much fun as we could with our performace. I blasted my heart out. It was so fun.

All that on my birthday. Other than that, the day kinda sucked. So yes, hapyp birthday to me.
