As i walk the shaddowed streets of london, i seem to notice the deathly stillness of every thing around me. As i walked each puddle seemed to make its own note, reminded me somewhat of a musical.
i enjoyed this time alone, i enjoyed it very much, for when your in your own world nothing else seems to bother.......
It took me some time to return back to my young master's manor. I deeply admired his beautifuly aranged manor, but what i fancied most of all was the stair way. It kinda resembled the stunning figure of a snake spirling up the large manor, each window representing the deadly stripes. I took a glance out the window and found what some people would call "familiar faces", only to be desterbed by my master, " Emily what on earth are you doing sitting on the floor!?"
I looked up to see the very handsome count, James Wether.
"Why sir, do you not notice? you need the enjoy the simpler things in life! Your carpet its very soft" i said with a playful giggle.
" My My, Ms. Emily how did you ever become this strange?"
He had this look on his face that i've admired ever since i began working for him.
"Well now sir, isnt that why you all love me so much"
There i decided to take my leave.
As i took out my hair i was constently reminded of the other maids' jealousy by they're despitful whispers and mumbles.
Now Now girls dont be jealous just because the count loves me the most I though to myself, one girl even had the nerve to stick her tounge out at me. As i began to undress i heard a high voice, kinda reminded me of a tiny little girl, calling my name.
"Emily rose you, fox!"
i turned to see Mary wether, My one and only friend in the manor. She also happened to be the count's younger sister.
"I saw you flirting with my elder brother!"
I blinked and acted innocent,
"Oh Mary, how could you acuse me of doing such a thing?"
"Emily what poison did you give the boy this time"?!
See, we became friends by a secerect of mine. whitch would be my knowledge of poisons. My father, was a medic, but was exicuted when i was a small girl for poisoning his maid, my mother.
"Mary stop being so fullish i would never do such a thing!!"
There was about three seconds of her giving me the pouty "i dont believe you look" and me acting as if i really didnt care.It took some time but she caved.
"So what were you doing out so late at night??" she asked as i changed into my "night gown" behind the silky blue curtain.
" Just taking a late nite stroll"
"But is so dark out you cant even see a thing!!"
"Bloody hell mary, must you ask me questions all night?''
Once again we went over the pouty non- believeing look.
"Well dont be tired in the morning because your'll still going to Mrs. Lanna's wedding shower right?
"Yes Marry, and im going to take my nights rest i will see you in the morning" i replied. She nodded her head meaning a good and kind "very well then" and went off.I was rather excited for Mrs. Lanna's party for she is rich mistress and the count's best friend's sister.But she isnt "Miss Popular". she seemed to have an obsession with Alice and wonder Land, though shes can be a nice woman (sometimes) i have the feeling her time would come soon, though it was going to be earlier then i could ever seem to imagine. I Lay on the bed next to the window,
the outside world always fasinates me........I thought to myself and returned to myown little world while i sleep.............
