Happy Happy, Fun Fun!
Update
Let me see ... as of August 28 when ChiA went back to school taking one classes in the afternoon at her home high school after the morning at her special school, the world began to spin and I'm running as hard as I can to catch up. To begin, the transition for ChiA to attend regular high school one class period a day was flawed from the onset. It's been a disaster: she goes truant (stays in bed most of the day) when it isn't a day for her art class. So, after a week or so of that and starting my Color & Design Fundamentals course at the university, online, I was driving ChiA to school when ever she could be talked in to going and picking her up. That'll wreak havoc on a project requiring the mixing of two pigments of paint and using them before the paint dries! So, my body rebelled and I had to take some sick days before my surgeries started to unravel. (Yes, major surgery this summer.) That put me behind in my course which is just a whole lot of work but a great course. The student furthest away lives in New Zealand. The rest of my the coursemates are on top of it and we post back and forth all day long between doing our projects or after posting a digital image of our work and getting comments from eachother and our instructor. We're even working in teams for discussion group. So, I call it quits on driving ChiA if there's a bus that she's supposed to take and she doesn't get out side and take it. I will do one pick up a day. But, we demand a review of her program because it does not suit her. Then I get a chance to dig in to days of painting with pigments and designing layouts on PhotoShop. Next thing you know, we're buying a condo!!!! We've been waiting for one like the one we rent to come on to the market at a price we can afford and it has one more thing: a working fireplace and is in a quiet, calm part of the complex. So, now I have ChiA to deal with and a condo sale to do paperwork (my studio is the FIRST thing that gets taken piece by piece as is over to the same room in the condo. I can camp out until the rest of the housewares get sent over.) OK. Some of you have gone through this next addition to my life with me already. I go for my regular skin cancer check up this morning and come away with two biopsies. That and a lot of liquid nitrogen burns on my face. But the biopsies are on my back and they HURT for a day or two. If either comes back negative, I'll have some skin surgery to add to the things I'll be juggling this semester. I do have to go back because the doc missed a cancerous spot on my left hand. This isn't melanomas, so far it's only been intrusive basal cell cancers. But my brother just had his second melanoma in about that many years removed last week and will be going in for a "zipper" job where they cut out all the lymph nodes that connected with the melanoma. How's that for living life to the fullest???!!!!

Sorry life has been so rough on you lately. Although being a student and having a different set of problems, I can understand what it feels like to have life go suddenly and totally nuts. I hope things turn upwards for you soon. 3nodding
