It's one of the typical ways to open a speech in a debate.
You know what's sad? When one is writing a history essay and all of a sudden findinf yourself you NEED to write "thus, ladies and gentlemen" or something of the sort to make emphasis XD
But if I did my teacher would lynch me. He screams at us for putting "I" and "etc" and "we" and underlining, and using brackets and blah blah blah.
So, how are you all today?
Me, making this History of Peru thinger project. If I don't take the lead, no one moves a finger so yeah.
This girl called me at 12 am today to tell me she'd finished her part, I was still asleep. Then later on this other one called saying the first one's work was crap and copy paste.
I was like.. ZOMG DEJA VU.
It had happened to me before when preparing a debate lol xD

EDIT: Today I also gave my Journal a new look =D. About time I did, ne? Haven't changed it in like forever. 'S been like this for over a year.
EDIT 2: Since I'm also changing the header, I'll post what I had before just for the sake of remembering,
