Jack watched in pure utter silence, a thing that he most likely wasn't used to, but he did so on rare occassoions..keeping silent was hard for him. But thats what Jack was doing, standing there with his pale skull face bearing no emotion as he watched with eager eyes to take in the spectacle that he himself once took place in.

"Uhh..Jack..?" A timid Nibbs called out hesitantly to her friend. " Jack, you aren't normally this quiet..are you-"

"Am I ok? " Jack said as he turned his head around and looked her straight in the eyes; his own empty sockets bearing only pure darkness. " Of course I'm OK! I love this ceremony! Remember when we had to do that? Heh, I'll never forget it.." Folding his arms across his chest, the skeleton boy; Jack Bones, began to smile feeling his own dead heart fill up with joy.

"Look, there is the new girl to the Shadow Clan. " With a single movement from Gargoyle's stone grey hand, the others quickly turned their gaze towards to the warrior girl. She seemed..almost lost in the line of souls awaiting their turn to be recorded into the Book of the Dead. It was either she felt lost or that she was bored out of her wits...either way it was difficult to tell the diffrence.
Stepping up to Grim, who stood in front of a very large dead oak tree that towered way over him like an ominous shadown over looking the horizon, the young warrior stood before him with her eyes holding onto the dusty book that Grim held at his side.

"Hmph.." Her arms crossed over her chest, the warrior looked at the book with curious eyes...for what it held in store for her she didn't know. " So. Are you gonna hurry up and get this over with now or -" She began, but Grim stopped her short, his skeleton hand only inches from her face." Child...." He began softly, his jamacian accent stirring his words deep within his enfinite dark abyss of a body..made only out of bone and the great power of Death itself.
" ..Tell me, what hurts you? What does you body deem the most ailing of all your limbs or inner workings..which part of you is the one you feel the most misery in having stuck in you and forced to have a part of your being?"

Normally the warrior would have thought it strange to ask such a question where you repeated the same meaning more than once..but it was as if her mind had gone to sleep..in a trance of some kind. Within her she could feel a sudden ache coming forth from deep inside her...a feeling she had felt before, but now...now she knew where it was coming from..the pain was so strong there.

"My..my stomach. " The warrior said plainly, her eyes practically in a daze. " I feel as though I have been divided into two halves..I feel broken. " Whispering her last words, she then regained her self conciousness and looked up at Grim, his hand pressing gently upon her forehead. " I see..now Child...this will only take a moment.."It felt as though the world had been torn from under their feet, for as the Grim Reaper peered within her mind, he could see the last moments of her life, feel her very own heart beating wildly at the moment of its last adrenialine(sp?) rush...the dark shadows of strange men surrounded her in the feild stained by blood, she had felt so strong, almost invunerable to all that posed a threat to her.
But then sadly, as Grim knew was coming..he then felt the sudden lurch of her heart stopping almost too quickly as if it had just merely skipped a beat.
Two of the strangers jumped out and took her by surprise, then as he also predicted..the blood from her abdomen gushed forth and sprayed the killers' faces with red blood.

" There..its is over now..Child, you don't know your name yet, do you? " Awaiting the answer, he opened up the book and placed his indx finger on the blank spot on the page...the memories and life of the warrior then filled the empty spot in a mere blink of an eye.
" I don't remember my name....As of now I have nothing." The warrior spoke up, oddly enough she smiled at him, her eyes dropping back to the book once more.

"Nothing eh? Well that answers that question..along with one I hadn't yet aked you. " Waving forth his hand, Grim allowed her to pass him, the next soul in line proceeded with the same procedure.

Not too far down the line, a couple stood together holding hands, the one girl wearing her love's hat, smiled at him occasionally, while at times straying towards confusion she looked up ahead and tried a few times to see what was going on.
" This waiting is driving me crazy Javert.." She said almost close to a whine.
The man beside her nodded his head in agreement, his eyes looking at the back of the person's head in front of them. " I know what you mean..this is quite boring to say the very least. " Clutching onto her hand even tighter, he breathed in and out, hoping to calm his overly charged nerves.

Up high above the crowd, Hiei watched the whole ordeal from the secrecy of the tree branch he stood on. His crimson eyes scanning the surrounds, he once again searched for the girl he had seen before. It confused him, almost baffled him as to why he cared so much as to search for this girl..but..something within in him urged him so that he could not ignore it.
"Hn..I shouldn't even be doing this, I mean..why-" In that instant however, Hiei finally saw her, she was among the souls in line...her eyes were straying every which way and one point, Hiei could swear that he saw her look in his direction, his own heart thumped nearly out of his chest. "Damn it..." He whispered, his brow furrowing. " Damn it all..."
