Firstly, of course, congrats to me myself and I for hitting 500 entries over the years. I can't believe it's been nearly 6 years of journaling on Gaia. Wild stuff.

Secondly, as the title says, things are doing okay! Things are quiet, I guess? Which is a good thing, considering how overworked I've been over the last few months. The only thing I really gotta do is continue with research progress, which I am doing (though perhaps not as fast as I could, I think it is good enough). I'm actually taking time to breathe and enjoy the summer, like I said I would.

I'm really enjoying biking around the city. Definitely feel safer wearing a helmet, even if it's not necessary. Think I've gotten a hang of the bike share bikes now, though I still can't tell if one is in good condition or not. Such a nice mode of transportation. I've been practicing biking with a backpack on, so hopefully we can make use of getting groceries with a bike real soon?

We're making good progress on the Fiton challenges I joined for this month. Only two more to go, I think? Honestly I better finish it, because I really don't wanna do that 30 minute workout again in the future!

In terms of other stuff, gently chugging along the book checklist for Neo. Last time I checked, we have < 30 to go, but they're all really expensive now. Hopefully a few good Food club days and some BD hauls will push us through that goal. After that, I'm not quite sure what there is left to do. Hoard NP? I could try to go for non-flash games on the first of the month again. But maybe this is a good time for a hiatus, as we ease into Altador Cup season.

I was looking into buying a code for webkinz so that I could bring Mew Mew, Bluey, or Twitter onto the account with Fluffy (Also so I could do quests that required non-free account stuff, haha). I was messaging a seller today and because the code for Bluey was so cheap, they ended up sending it to me. Honestly that was the highlight of the day. I'm still surprised at how nice the people are in these tiny gaming communities. But yeah, Bluey has been added to the fam! I'll probably use him as a default pet but keep Fluffy on as my 'smart' pet (since I need *someone* to get a high enough skill for all the jobs!).

In summary, things are looking okay right now. Things are slow... but I think I needed it.
