Ebania's Journal
Museum Time! :D
Sorry for the lack of updates in my journal, to anyone who might possibly care about Ebbers' bullshit entries! I've been lazy incredibly busy, and unable to update. *ahem* Anywho.

On the 18th.

My beautiful Tomás celebrated his 16th birthday with his family, and me, eventually. He got his birthday gifts, they bought him cake, and his brother, Alberto, was, well, himself that night. XD

On the 19th.

Spent the day chillin', and got a call from my uncle and aunt, in the evening, asking if I wanted to sleep over that night, to be able to go to the Houston Museum of Fine Arts in the morning. I accepted.

Once in their apartment, I decided to help Jimena (baby cousin) get ready for bed. Which included taking a bubble bath with the little four year old. This resulted in a little naked child with straight black hair to her shoulders, running around the house, crying, about the *"shark" she saw in the water.

*It was a rubber ducky!

I slept with dried shampoo in my hair. Looooong shower in the morning.

Anway, before that, on the night of the 19th, something interesting happened. I'm just going to copy and paste from what I wrote down already in one of my guilds. *is still damn lazy*

[Franny's rant]See, last night, in my aunt/uncle/baby cousin's apartment, there was a small fire in the parking lot. A neighbor was drunk and smoking, dropped the cigarette before it was completely out, and caught some grass on the curb on fire. This neighbor has two pitbulls, who got out of her house while she was drunk, and chased my uncle into his house until he locked us in, where those dangerous animals couldn't get to us.

It's those stupid people who do retarded - Not Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy retarded; I mean "i no dis is st00pd an puts mor dan 1 persuns neck on da lyn I'M GONNA DU IT ANIW4Y" - s**t.

The person was drunk and smoking. Those are two hazardous things right there. She wasn't careful, and did not accept the responsibility for her actions. When we complained to the landlord, she defended herself with "I was trying to get the dogs out of the house, and didn't have time to get their leashes!", even though she knows she won't openly admit that she takes those hideously dangerous dogs out walking without leashes on a daily basis, where there are children.

That pisses me off. Why? Because that ******** a** won't change until legal action is taken. She won't.

But if you're smart about what you do, and are able to suck it up and take responsibility for your own consentual actions, I can only respect you more than I already do.[/Franny's rant]

So, yeah.

In the morning, we headed for the Museum. Amazing, amazing work.

One Swiss artist (I didn't remember names or artist names, sorry. v___v) made a line of events that continue the cycle of life, that I thought was amazing.

It was very symbolic nature to each picture. It wasn't vulgar, but it accurately showed a man and a woman making love, the simple touches of said man gently probing her vulva. Then, an image followed of a small star-like creature inside of a large dome, with two lung-like cavities in the picture above said dome, which evidently represented pregnancy. It then showed the woman with her legs apart, in which the drawing became a bit more risqué, for it showed an open vulva and a small bundle into the man's arms. The next image is a family of three in the sunshine. Amazing work.

We then saw the golden - literally golden! - works of different South American, Midde Eastern, Asian, African, and European cultures. Incredible.

There were two that made me want to bawl my eyes out.

1) Some of you may know that, before I was born, my mother had a miscarriage with my older sister, Martha. She had curly black hair when she was delivered from my mother's womb, but she died before we could have seen whether she had light or dark eyes.

The portrait was titled The Guardian Angel, which showed a young girl, probably 6 or 7 years old, with dark red curls in a bow atop her head, an elegant dress, and mysterious, dark eyes. Just like Isabel, my younger sister. The resemblance was frightening.

But here's where it gets creepy.

The guardian angel that stood over her had dark curls, resembled a teenager, and happens to resemble me and Isabel's guardian angel: Our sister.

******** scary stuff. Yet amazing. I almost cried. OMG.

2) This one was straightup powerful. A picture of St. Francis, crying, holding the crucifix to his chest, blood seeping from his hands, and a golden ring of holiness surrounding his head. Absolutely incredible.

Besides that, the other portraits were interesting, and lovely, and fun. But these two were like, the reason I went there. For stuff that would bring tears to my eyes, by using visual and emotional plucks to pull at my heartstrings.

. . . That was basically my day. We also ate Vietnamise for lunch, and then had some French Onion Pasta, homemade!, for dinner. Yum! =D

Well, I updated. There's the latest on Franny's life. Cao!

Song of the Moment: "Landslide", by Dixie Chicks.
Mood: Emotional, tired, content, loving, understanding.
Upcoming Parties: None that I know of. The last party sucked, yet it didn't swallow. XD No one arrived. We waited and waited, but we got confused and me, Devin K. Truessence, and Food Poisoning are seriously thinking of a reschedulement, because a) we wanted to party and have a good time b) the party expenses for decoration and advertisement were brutal.
