My mother however refuses to acknowledge this or even speak to me about the matter. As the years go by I am noticing just how distant my mother and I really are. Which has now shown me that my grandmother really is the only person in my life who legitimately cares about me. That is a sad realization to have to come to, but I will deal with it.
If her friends end up homeless again, I refuse to allow them here. Not ever again.
