Mostly I have seen things for sale in outfits that lack vital parts like hair and facial items - for me I like to make sure I cover the basis if i possibly can. I try to build a cute outfit, but then make sure there is hair, ears, eyes, mouth and nose, also blush if i can.
This isnt always easy since i buy up items with blusher and noses and they always jump in price fast after i do this.
items for nose & blusher are the mimi neko items which have all gone up several thousand - i bought a pile when they were around 500p but I have also sold dozens upon dozens of complete avatars too. there are only a few nose items besides the mimi neko (which includes blush) and are my favorite there are also the "stroll" items, like sunday stroll. They have the 'pixi' nose but all have been bought out and you'd be lucky to find any in the MP anymore. Lastly there are the "Commander" items which also have a decent nose included in the item.
It is getting harder to offer the full face though, so i am hoping more items offer one soon. Same with blusher. Lots of eyes include blush, but i found this cute doll like blusher in a SDPlus item and then that went waaay up in price. lol i cant win!
Then sometimes Ill even add a gift item so it is even covered in forums.
