🤔 Sɪᴍᴘʟᴇ Lɪғᴇ Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs 💭
This'll be what I'm thinking about. Whether it be from books I've read to experiences I've had, you'll find all sorts of stuff here. The purpose is either to entertain or give some life advice, so I hope you enjoy if you're interested!

Sooooo I just broke my limit yet again. It turns out that DBZ Goku vs. Jiren and a little bit of being upset is the perfect combination for me performing some bicep blasting. I was comfortably at 45s after increasing from 40s last week, but now I'm at 50s and I'm back to where I used to be a couple years ago before I quit working out regularly. Now I'm on a roll and plan to keep pressing onward! What's funny is that I was upset over missing out on an RP, but it was my fault. I needed to read the rules more thoroughly before I sent in my application, but oh well, woe is me! I was upset at first, but then I reminded myself of the same thing I tell everyone else, and that is to turn bad experiences into something good. I can't dwell on my mistakes, and I especially can't just let myself suffer over something so petty! I am my own motivational coach, so I told myself, "Chuck, you're gonna go past your limits today." I did just that after putting Goku Vs. Jiren on repeat to psych myself up.

User ImageI did 10 sets, much more than I really should have, of 50lbs on each arm for bicep curls. The sets went from 12, 12, 10, 10, 8, 6, 6, 6, 6, and 4 as I slowly lost the strength to even grip the dumbbells! I tell you this, I feel like every problem I have can be solved by focusing on it and using it to push forward. Turning every negative experience in my life into a positive one is how I will be able to push past my limitations and live a life that I enjoy with no regrets. So what should you do? You should turn all of your negative experiences into something positive! Whenever you are feeling low because of something, turn it around and figure out what ways it can be a benefit to you! Even if a family member dies, you can remind yourself that they would not want you to live in sorrow, but to keep moving forward and to remember the good times you had with them. Focus on the fact that you had the opportunity to live with them in the first place and remember that that is worth smiling over. Good can always be made out of bad situations, even if the bad sometimes outweighs the good. It's how we deal with our emotions and our problems that define our character.

On a separate note, I swear I'm going to be at 55s soon and I can't wait! I'll be ready for that zombie apocalypse coming with wave two of the coronavirus, you can be sure about that!

Edit: just realized how white my arms are! xD
